Primerica is for fools

Toronto, Canada

#1 Jul 13, 2012
This should go without saying to anyone with a brain, but Primerica is for suckers. The average compensation for a Primerica agent in 2010 was barely more than $5000. Of course, the rep will tell you that "the sky is the limit" but in reality, they get people to work like slaves as agents for next to nothing, and then blame the agents for the poor compensation.

Sorry, you've just confirmed everything negative that's been said about you. You can't rationally defend your scummy business model so you're tossing around ad-hominems.

Why is recruitment more important than sales? Because recruits have to pay for certification, and even a failed recruit generates money further up the pyramid.

Why is the average compensation only $5000? Because it's a pyramid scheme which benefits scum-sucking scammers, not honest hard-workers. The "laziness" canard doesn't stand up at all to basic reason.

Primerica Scam

Toronto, Canada

Anyone with a brain: ask yourself -- why is "Billy Wong" trying so hard to recruit, instead of make sales, if there are so many sales to be made?

Because he can't make sales, so he's trying to scam others into joining below him in the pyramid. That way he gets a cut of any money they pay for certification, or any paltry sales that they happen to make, or any fools that they, in turn, happen to recruit.

The "Primerica" model tells you to recommend Primerica insurance to friends and acquaintances. Hmm, let's think this through... How many friends are going to want to be your friend if, every time you meet them, you try to sell them insurance? And would you buy insurance from the guy standing in front of you in the grocery line?

What "Billy Wong" can't explain is why the average compensation level is $5000, if there are so many sales to be made. The truth is that he doesn't care if you crash and burn after paying money to Primerica to get started ... as long as he gets some money out of you before he moves on to the next sucker.

I'm seeing quite hateful comments about Primerica. Primerica Scam is another incompetent and lazy person who will never succeed in life and end up regretting what he/she/it said when money isn't saved for retirement.
Primerica Scam, are you saying that the $100 Ontario Securities Licensing Fee is profit for Primerica? You are dumbfounded. Primerica incurs expenses to run an office and helps with the employment statistics of Canada.
Do you aim for being unemployed, underemployed or a welfare bum?
Primerica is partnered with Citigroup how can Primerica be a scam?
You should thank God for Billy Wong offering you a job. When did someone ever call you back after an interview or hired you?
I advise you get a job. It's Primerica's leaders and representatives $5,000 a month that is paying your welfare.
Don't be alarmed if my son is buying more houses in your area. Primerica changes lives.

You've already proven yourself to be a liar and an imposter. Your "ringing" endorsement of Wong and Primerica is farcical, to say the least.

You are clueless. You are probably the type of a person who looks for hourly security rather than doing something ambitious with their lives. Primeica is NOT for you. And I dont work for them but I have enough intelligence on my head to know they are a brokerage business model and not a pyramid. As if you any corporation is not a pyramid right?

Pffft, Sorry pal. Insulting people isn't going to change anyone's mind. In fact, the pathetic responses from those "involved" with Primerica show a very immature and unprofessional attitude that quite frankly, I wouldn't want anywhere near my financial products/services.
As for the farce, the shithead I was responding to claimed he was a professor at the U of T in another thread. It took all of 2 minutes to verify that he was lying.

Wow- are threads like this still going around?
The link popped up as I was trying to log into the company site from a new computer.
Ive been a rep with the company on a part time basis for six years, suplementing my seasonal income in construction. Its now to the point where I make more part time here than in my original trade. THAt is how the opportunity was designed.
Yes, the compensation plan is based on overrides. No shame in that. The guy that recruited me makes an overide on the sales I make, and trained me through steady promotions effectively CUTTING his own overrides. I now have a few reps on my team, new to the business, who- guess what-STARTED AT THE BOTTOM! Now they too are working their way up.
Thats how it works.
If you dont like it, go work somewhere else.
As for a scam- I laugh derisevely. This is a federally licenced and regulated company, floated on the NYSE for two years. Ask the 200 companies who invested in PRI stocks about us, not the trolls under the bridge!

Thanks for posting these articles, clearly showing that Multilevel marketing companies do not fall under the scope of Pyramid Sales legislations in the USA

Exercise a little critical thinking and you will soon see through the Primerica scam. These agents want you to sell for Primerica because they'll get paid for your sales. So it doesn't matter to them if you make more or less than you would at McDonalds, because for them, something is better than nothing.
They give the excuse that "Primerica is not for everyone... if you're lazy it's not for you", in other words blaming any low compensation on the "laziness" of that particular sales agent. But if the average compensation is $5000 a year in 2010, that should set off alarm bells. Is Primerica claiming that most of its own agents are lazy?
Quite simply, Primerica is a pyramid scheme.

So is it normal company policy for people "posting" from San Jose, CA to lie about being professors at the University of Toronto?

As for federally licenced and regulated, big deal. All those banks and investment firms that "invested" in sub-prime mortgages in the US were federally licenced and regulated.
That didn't work out well for anyone except the scammers.

Here is another "NYSE listed" operation that is really a pyramid scheme:

Anyone dumb enough to believe in all of these anonymous "millionaires" on topix should, by all means, join Primerica. Anyone with a brain would do well to exercise caution.

More on Herbalife, another pyramid scheme like Primerica. Notice that the "real money" is in recruitment, not sales. That is the difference between a "legitimate Multi-Level Marketing operation" and a blatant pyramid scheme.

Primerica is no different. People here who praise it, insult its critics, and brag about how much money they have -- remember that their claims are unverifiable, likely bogus, and that they have an obvious motive for lying.
