Roll the swat teams....
Maybe they can taser him at the border.... And F the "justice" system. |

The "Liberal Party" didnt "libel" Harper, it was the Cadman family.
Go after them Harper, and I personally will contribute money for them to countersue you till your eyesockets bleed. |
|
|
What possible benefit did the Cadman family have for making these "libelous statements"?
Cadman was a career conservative till the confidence vote. He's dead now. And what benefit does the Cadman family have for making these statements? Bringing possible libel charges against themselves..... They can look spend $$$$$$ nationwide for a grafitti artist, and yet dont want to have Harper explain his "offer"..... |
|
|
Well from what I can remember of the whole affair, it was over a life insurance policy.
I have never heard of a life insurance company giving coverage to a person that is soon to die. I hope Harper does sue,and win. |
|

Well I hope the Cons can sue the Libs, the Libs can sue the Cons, the NDP can do whatever the f they want, then someone can sue them, and they can do it out of the funds donated to them to do it.
It doesn't matter who is in power, Adscam, Paul Martin and his "closing" of tax havens as finance minister (leaving one open he could exploit of course) HRDC scandal, RCMP Pension fraud/Arar, Mulroney Schreiber, the income trust leak, Goodales's finance office, or this "offer" on and on and on.... Organized crime runs this country whether or not you want to believe it. A few patsies go down from time to time like Oswald in the JFK assassination just to appease the untermenschen, and give the allusion of justice, and the justification to put the hammer down on the rest of us subclass. Harper is dragging his feet on appointing someone to head the Schreiber/Mulroney inquiry. Looking for the most "malleable prospect" Stevo? Not only Mulroney should go down but the "law (lie) yer(s)" that asked for an affidavit from Schreiber saying no money changed hands, when obviously it did, because after Schreiber's lawyer said not word for word but close "if you give Mulroney that, I will cut your hands off". Corruption is so symbiotic with politics they may as well be siamese twins. And no amount of methane blowing about "accountability" will change that. And obviously no "democratic vote" or the "justice system" either. |

I remember watching Lyndon MacIntyre interviewing Paul Martin's spokesperson on the Fifth Estate over Martin's actions as finance minister of Canada and how it pertained to his "Canadian Steamship Lines".
When he asked the smarmy spokesperson about whether or not Martin standing up saying that people were committing tax evasion in havens, closing loopholes and then conveniently exploiting the one he left open that suited his own agenda, whether or not, this was a "conflict of interest".(or the underlying theme of if Martin is a tax evader) The spokesperson looked like he was a rabbit in the headlights, has crapped in his diapers, a feeble shake of the head and a wane noooooooo. Of course it's all "legal". Of course, if you are a politician that uses his power of office for personal gain........ |
|
|
Too bad Lyndon MacIntyre wasn't a judge or some such. It's obvious that political bias doesn't really enter into his questioning. He's pounded the left and the right all with his cloaked dagger approach.
Not really someone that old Stevo would want to head an inquiry. |
|
Relax f'head, it's not a court of law, it's just Lyndon MacIntrye. Martin or you will never see a court of law, you can bet on that..... |

Well I will agree on That analyzes that they are all as crooked as a dogs hind leg. Cops included, they are the most El Charro!
It is not the Angels that are organized crime. It is ones that harrassed them. |

A 160 million dollar Ottawa bookeeping "error".
To Paul Martin's "Canadian" Steamship Lines. That of course exploited a loophole left open by Martin as finance minister to "avoid" (evade) taxes. Not only is he a scumbag that "flags" his ships under other countries, operating "shell companies" or "offices" in those countries to evade tax, and then kicks Canadians off those ships for more "cost efficient" third worlders, he gets loans from the gov't to do it... ---------- More recently yet another circumstance with respect to CSL has arisen to embarrass Mr. Martin. The fact that he recently transferred ownership to his three sons has done little to dampen opposition ire. Last year, in answer to a question from the Canadian Alliance, the Chretien government revealed that over the past decade it had awarded contracts and gave contracts and loans worth $137,000 to CSL. Then, last week, Government House Leader Jacques Saada said the true amount was $161 million --$46 million of which was awarded during the time Mr. Martin was finance minister. Now, first of all, how could anyone in government possibly make a financial mistake of that magnitude? Is this how Ottawa keeps track of the way it spends tax dollars? Really,$137,000 for a company as large as CSL over 10 years is laughable. When Mr. Martin heard that piddly amount you'd think he'd have immediately seen to it that more accurate figures were forthcoming. After all, there's no sin in a huge company like CSL doing business with Ottawa. It doesn't necessarily point to any conflict of interest -- though conflict becomes more of an issue here due to Mr. Martin's many indiscreet meetings to inform himself of his company's affairs. But Mr. Martin publicly said nothing. He told the Commons this week he was simply too busy working on his leadership campaign to take note of the $160.9 million error. Maybe that's true, but it sounds incredible and irresponsible. Meanwhile, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation is furious that a CSL subsidiary received a federal loan under Technology Partnerships Canada while Mr. Martin was an MP -- strictly forbidden. http://paulmartintime.ca/mediacoverage/000254... |
