But you are anxious to send a bunch of money to a communist country that is flush with cash from a vibrant economy and a massive trade imbalance..? China is not a poor country, like Myanmar...which is, by the way, a far left wing military dictatorship closely allied with China. My point is: Folks like yourself often complain we are massively in debt - and that is a valid complaint...but you want to get MORE in debt sending aid to dictator run countries that hate democracy..? Makes no sense.

Not everyone accepts 9/11 as being entirely a terrorist act. I'm neither liberal nor conservative, BTW. Naive, no. I want the real truth, even though it might go against the warm fuzzy myths most of us hold so dear, like the one that tells us our government is doing what it's doing to protect us from foreign evil, forever and ever, amen. Utopian? Perhaps, in that I would love to have massive government reform to get us somewhere near the way our government was meant to be. You know, with those inalienable rights and liberties we see being taken away, just because of scary terrorists over THERE who MIGHT someday come here? You waste your own time. Not possible for anyone to waste it for you. Sorry.

I trust we will end up in greater debt either with or without our asstiance to Myanmar or any other country in need as we have a tendency to believe we will get what we want from them, and end up getting screwed, but maybe its just our POTUS. As well as what better way to show that democracy works then to give assistence without strings?

Once we leave the poor middle east alone, you won't have a secure day the rest of your life. Why do they see you as a foe? It isn't because they want to take over the US. Address this and much of your problem would be eliminated.(First WTC attack? What were you doing in the Middle East prior to that?)

What is the effect of the regime's crime against it's own people in not providing necessary help for the cyclone victims on the resistance? Hello Burmese people, wake up, tear down this regime, why are you sparing them, they don't care a damn about you. Doesn't the unfairness kinda make you angry?? Isn't it time to lay off the pasifism before more of you will be left to die? Tore

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results" - Einstein You are correct in your quote, but fail to understand the biggest factor of the solution. Our politicians. They have always approached things from the same launch pad, and have never realy attempted to try any variation on democracy, other then dictatorship. When we actualy sit down and discuss the options one must also include our enemies, as the phrase goes,"keep your friends close and your enemie's closer"! With that in mind I think it appropriate to sit down with all involved pro or con, and discuss the future. It is ok to disagree with thy neighbor, but it is not ok to dismiss the good will and gesture on our part. Remember also that most times it isnt the populace of a nation that doesnt want our help, but rather their govt. in which case is afraid we will spread peace, even if we dont like or agree with their methods.

I dont recall asking for the idiots to chime in, but hey why not we allow other idiots in our whitehouse! I have only one reason to trust our govt., and that would be to have all our rights and abilities to be taken away, so set forth the ass crewing that we will get should we allow them to continue! You likely have never been involved in matters that report to a higher agency and in the end get screwed by Mr. Rummy! 1 divrice later is what it cost, as well as many thousands of dollars. Lets talk about the idea of New Orleans, while I dont believe for a minute that our govt had anything to do with the breaches other then not fixing them to a safe level, but the overall response was not acceptabl either, and leaving 1 man in charge only to be flamed later as a screw up, jeeze sure sounds like our govt gave me reason to not trust, so put the fucking rock pipe down go smoke a blunt and chill the fuck out!

It's a fact that dems tend to blame their problems on others. BTW, one man is not in charge dipshit. there's this branch called Congress that can't seem to pull it's liberal head out of it's liberal ass. Listen hick, you're not gettin another handout from me. And then you must have been standing up the back, egging the Kurds on against Saddam. Of course, when they turned to look for your promised assistance in their dying monents, you had disappeared again. Now it's been a busy year for you already, stirring up the Tibetans and telling them Buddhist amulets will deflect tanks shells. Isn't it a time you gave it a rest before you get more blood on your spandex? Or, if I am wrong and you are willing to back up your talk with action, no doubt you will already be on the way to Bangon to lead the frist column against the army.(But you're not, are you?)

You realy are a republican arent you! See here is my position, as long as we have to extremest parties,Dems and GOP, we will always have this debate, as both groups are scared shitless of Indepentent thinkers, which is the catagory I am in. If our vote was truly counted, there wouldnt be these two parties, and more shit would get done, and we would actualy be able to sleep at night know that our neighbors have good relations with us, but instead we allow uneducated dope snorten tugs into the white house. As for you, your right I am just graduateing, but from a much higher education then you could abtain, prozac is fun, you might want to try some oh and yes I piss people off not by accident but with intent, and great skill! You and are arent as different as you may think, the only thing I noticed and would possably consider different is your pro buss. position. Would that be pro corprate or pro private. Both have a place in this world, but if you wish to succeed in this time and age, one must pay more attention to the end user, and the market there of. So many corps. are making a profit, in which I dont actualy have issue with, but be honest about being a thief! When you sit behind a $20k desk and tell someone else that only makes maybe $100k a year that they dont matter, how do you expect any one below that income marhin to respect such gross profits you make as a corpparation. How is it we can allow our own country to have so many homeless and hungery as you sit and light up a $1500 cigar? When lives are in the balance, it shouldnt matter ones income level, as when in disaster you have nothing to begin with. Maybe you havent experienced a personal disaster, but when you do, you will understand my point,$10mil, dont mean shit when you cant access it because all your id's and other documents just went up in a simple house fire. Now compound that by several million, and tel me you dont have the heart to help another human being because it's just another handout. ONe day you will see how corrupt your thinking maybe, and hopeully soon, as it will be your demise as you stress over your earned penny, wondering how to protect it after death, and for what, you cant take it with you! By the way I too hold a few degrees, from CSU, own a company in Ca. but you dont see me bragging about how big I am a dick do you?
