They say they lack proof and want him to show it? That is strange.
I think perhaps he will show what they want when Emmer shows his tax records for last year as Dayton has already!

This was previously investigated and was found to be a sound business practice.

" The GOP used details from the former U.S. senator's federal disclosure forms to document the family trusts in South Dakota, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands"

Why, those places allow money with no income taxes!

That would make Dayton a hypocrite! And a liar!

But we already knew that.

Hey FL! It is a sound business practice.

Just not what he preaches.

"make the rich pay their fair share"

Maybe Dayton will be honest enough to PRACTICE WHAT HE PREACHES.

But I doubt it. His is a liberal and dishonest.

And runs like a girl.

In my opinion Mr. Dayton is a proven coward and his mind is suspect. Anybody who shuts down his Senate office for a MONTH because of a supposed "Terrorist Attack" must not be in any position of power. What would he do if there is an actual attack. As for this trust fund deal it is just business as usual for a Democrat. The rules apply to everyboy but them.
Remember November. Vote ALL Democrats out!

This is so typical of Republicans - throw out some "mud" and even tho it doesn't stick, it leaves a stain. But, it's o.k. for Emmer not to release his income tax forms. I would be curious to know how much $$$ charity groups have received from Emmer. Republicans live by double standards.

As would be moving your business out of state due to the high tax rates proposed by Dayton.

Until Emmer releases his financial information, the GOP has a relatively weak argument here (and I support Emmer). That said, it is also weak if Dayton is proposing taxing the "richest Minnesotans" and he's not one of them solely based on where his trust funds are. This should become an interesting talking point.

I'm convinced that Mark Dayton's father sold off the company just so Mark would never be able to run it...right into the ground.

From the news story:
"Lacking firm proof of the allegation,..."
"As part of this campaign, Dayton has released his income tax forms for the prior year. Republican nominee Tom Emmer has refused."
Are there no limits to the distortion, lies, and dodges the state GOP and Emmer will employ in their blind race to power?

It's about time somebody brought this up. Another politician with great ideas that apply to the rest of us, but conveniently exclude themselves.

Somebody who's worried about the other guys' taxes should ask their guy about his. If he'll release them...it always amazes me how you can spin anything in politics.

That's kind of like a right-winger bringing up Democrats who have done wrong on Richard Nixon's day he accepted the pardon, 36 years ago today. Yeah, he didn't do anything wrong, but he accepted the pardon anyway.

Oh, look...Fumbletree is awake!

Is it noon already?

Are there no limits to the lies, distortions and dodges that liberal icon and fairy Mark Dayton won't employ in order to make every other "rich" Minnesotan "pay their fair share"....as long as Dayton doesn't have to abide by his own rules?

Yes, class envy...sometimes I think Dayton resents his parents for succeeding and becoming wealthy. He certainly has done NOTHING to create wealth for himself.

He has only worked government jobs, taking tax dollars away from hungry families and people without healthcare so that he can run like a girl and close his office for a month at a rumored terrorist attack.

Yes, anyone that supports Dayton for Gov is a moron.
