Can someone please tell me what does "Bajan" mean? and where did it come from?
It sounds indian.. didnt by chance have anything to do with Christopher Columbus now did it?

Bajan is short for Barbadian which is someone from Barbados and Barbados means if I remember correctley from my Dad (may he rest in peace) means Bearded fig tree.....I hope I am correct and I hope I helped
