Do you still have to leave the reservation, to buy your liquor on Sundays?

Haha, spent a few years of my childhood in Northern Ontario and Winnipeg. Winter means skiing(cross-country and downhill), snowmobiling, tobogganing, backyard hockey rinks, crisp, cold nights where the snow shines like tiny jewels in the moonlight. It also means more hot tatties and snuggle time by the fireplace with my wife. Man I love winter. Well that's not quite true, I hate Southern Ontario winters, they generally suck ass lol.

Boy! You really are bitter. Too bad. Being white is fantastic. It's kind of like a club where we take care of each other. You're on the outside. You can't really insult someone like me....I don't even regard you as being human. I just laugh....I mean what are you going to call me? A "honkey"? LOL! Oh! That hurts! LOL!

There's nothing good to say about winter. You people to the east of us don't have it any better or worse. It all sucks.

The only societal loser is the above moron who can't differentiate between immigration in general and mass immigration. His resulting stupidity forces him to make idiotic posts to cover his own ugly racism.

He is a troll, but sometimes he's fun to feed. His original foray into this thread speaks volumes of his participation. His choice of city was Kingston, Jamaica. Obviously anyone that would even suggest that is either making a joke or trolling. In Tinywood's case don't be fooled, he's trolling.
He's a skidmark in a freshly laundered pair of underwear. He's the reason the morning after pill was invented. He avoids intelligence with a gusto that's almost admirable. In fact, he is to intelligence as the Kon Tiki was to naval warfare.

Ever since his trailer park got dial-up, he's been a virtual and literal pain in the ass.

My father grew up there, he doesn't share your point of view on Northern Ontario winters LOL. Especially when he lived in Red Lake, but he said Winnipeg was pretty damn cold too. I did a job in Fairbanks Alaska about five years ago and that 40 below zero stuff is a hell of a thing.

Actually, I used to live to the south of you. That end of Ontario is the worst. Little to no snow most years but it wouldn't be so bad of it weren't for the damn humidity. It just doesn't go down very much in winter in that neck of the woods. Made the gear I wore when it was 40-50 below in Winnipeg pretty much useless.

Winnipeg is fun because it can get to 40 below before factoring in the windchill. It's always windy there. There's a joke about half the topsoil in Saskatchewan being in Manitoba.
Or, why is Manitoba so windy? Cuz Ontario sucks and Saskatchewan blows lol.

Yeah I've herd about that legendary Winnipeg wind chill. At least when I was in Fairbanks it wasn't windy, I couldn't imagine dealing with that at 40 below. LOL, I had a hard enough time imagining what I had already got into.

What was REALLY messed up was, the gear that kept me relatively warm in Winnipeg was useless in Southern Ontario at just 5-10 below.

It's all relative to humidity. I live in one of the rainiest areas in Washington State and when it gets down into the low teans, or even single digits which is seldom, it is unbearable, it cuts right to the bone. When I was working in Fairbanks Alaska, it got up to 5 degrees below and that felt like sweat shirt weather, but the difference is, it was much dryer up there. But I will still say when you get to 40 below it doesn't matter at that point, it's way damn too cold!

Yeah the higher humidity is a real game changer, even in the summer time it can really make the warm weather unbearable. A couple of years ago, we had a heat wave that ran Washington State up into triple digits. It got to 114 degrees Fahrenheit, all that I could do was grab a 6 pack and sit in the river. Most of the refrigeration and air conditioning was failing, so there was no where to go to escape the heat.
