Where does this hubris come from?

Our Leadership who attend world publicised Meetings like the recent East Asia Summit to grandiously solve the global economic problems buffeting our Region. Only, to spectacularly fail to reach agreement in their endeavor to insulate East Asia from the consequences of the European Financial crisis that continues to roll on unabated.

What came out of Julia's talk fest in the East Asia summit- nothing!
What came out of the G20 Meetings Nothing!

No solution or worthwhile benefit comes from our political or business leadership. They may have been useful in the evolution of our human society until the end of the last decade but now since the world has become globalised it's evident the narrow nationalistic Leaders are no longer functional in the globalised system.

Look at Europe the Nations that make up the EU are unable to agree and resolve their collective crises born of their integrated relationship in Europe.

Now in Australia our poor quality Leadership of partisan politicians, like the narrow nationalists in Europe, want to make agreements and move Australia in a unified way to resolve Murray Darling river system crisis. Coercion through the Law will not work, this is against an integrated approach by agreement.

First the Leadership have to reform themselves before reforming the Murray Darling River management. Only, then can they success to solve our problem emanating from an integrated world.

Our leaders need to make representation in international affairs. The Murray Darling problems festered under the Howard government as well. The problem is how much do you regulate the regional water consumers without destroying the agricultural sector. It's a fine balance, I honestly don't see any tangible alternative scheme being put forward by the Lib-Nats.

Your like a man having been mauled by a shark you now call out for help from a crocodile!

You can't see that a shark or a crocodile does not and is not willing to do any good for anyone, only feed and fill themselves.

Go down a different path and unite with your Community. These Leaders are like hollow statues with pompous pretensions that pretend they can solve societies pressing problems. While all the while their stings are being pulled by powerful monied sectional interests.

The solution was provided sure enough, you just don't want it. You prefer the crocodiles.
