This Report if you read it tells us that, ".. that at a broad level, social cohesion remains stable, despite a growing population, increased diversity and recent economic uncertainty." It also say's, " Attitudes toward immigration remain largely unchanged since 2011, with 56 per cent of people of the opinion that the current immigrant intake is "about right", or "too low"." These claims sound counter intuitive as we know that outside the corporate media outlets there are many complaints about the high rates of imitation that has been ongoing for decades. I don't need to go on about this. So, how come this Report authored by a Monash Academic makes these claims that the Australian Community thinks immigration is "..slightly too low"? When you look at who commissioned this Report it all becomes clear, the Scanlon Foundation. A Foundation set up by a super rich investor Peter Scanlon, to promote immigration because as an investor this makes him rich. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/businessold/scanl... Hence we see the reason the government and the corporate media are also pro-immigration and keep denying the ill effects of decades of high immigration because the buyers of the media services profit from immigration. We also see these same rich investors do not improve the capabilities of our economy. They always invest in Property Development or retail. This form of a economy does not improve Australian exports, only increasing the supply of unproductive economic development. It's becoming obvious that our society as it stands does not operate effectively for the benefit of it's people. It serves only the interests of the wealthy few, we need to look for better models of society but like sheep we keep following the bought off discredited Leaders and the bought off media outlets.

I would bet that Monash is one of the most heavily privatized universities in Australia. Staff are hired to 'help' foreign full-fee paying students cheat their way through their purchased degrees and authentic grades probably don't even exist as a concept anymore. What matters at a university like Monash is your ability to PAY if you're a student, and your ability to support the LIE about "quality education" if you're an academic. And yes, they have toilets purpose built for muslims, just so you know ;)

LOL Scanlon wants to "clean up" the "student industry". I guess he intends to do that by commissioning MONASH to do his dirty work?

When research is subsidized by private interest groups, like this Scanlon character, money talks and bullsh*t walks as usual; but academics are supposed to steer clear of the marketplace. Being bought and sold by power-mongers is not what education is supposed to be about. And what is really disturbing about this is that this information was distributed far and wide. Saw it on the 'news' last night and it will continue to trickle into the mainstream and be accepted by it as 'true'. Not just because it was academic research, but because some good-looking young media folk toeing the corporate line sold it to people who don't read or think.

I put this b.s. report in the same category as so many of the "stats" we hear that also seem counter-intuitive because they always seem to support the agenda of the organisation which commissioned the "research".

Complete propaganda. Even last night on that news packaged for morons trash The Project they kept "congratulating" Australia for being so 'tolerant'. So we are congratulated for stupidly allowing our country's social stability become worse and worse until we end up with the streets burning like London? The Islamic filth already showed their hand once in Sydney - these are the type of people we want our children mixing with?! Come on!!

Hope Scanlon et al knows what people think of his report. Guess he'd better get to work on more 'education programs' so that his army of migrants can do their jobs better for lower pay.
