And the reason the western world was worried about China being the new enemy was? The Australian government is being so bloody hypocritical banning China's Huawei Telco from vying for the contract to build the NBN for fear of what they would garner. Now we know exactly why they didn't want them to get the contract, they could have been able to get wise to what these joint countries are engaged in, via our communications network.
Yet again it's left up to a whistle blower to inform the general public and the world of what is happening on the so called "good side" where we are spying and conspiring with each other and being extremely secretive about their major role in it all, all the while laying the blame and scaremongering against China and their enemies. Our country is not only violating our privacy they are violating the privacy of other world governments and doing it with impunity. It is not only big bad corrupt China infiltrating the communications network to their advantage now is it, but that is ok for most because it is us. Oowah!

The reason they don't want Huawei is because Huawei may refuse to tap the undersea cable while hypocrite corporations like Cisco, Google etc willingly collaborate with NSA. The real thief is the NSA and they are tricking people into believing that they are their protector.

In the past, every week, we hear about how dangerous are the Chinese hackers. For the past 2 months, after the exposure by Edward Snowden, the US control hypocrite media are completely silent. The "Chinese Hackers" suddenly disappeared. By pointing finger at China they remind the world who is the all time biggest hypocrite in history.

China doesn't cut deep sea cable to listen to your communication.
US is showing bad example. The best way to counter bad US behaviour is to inflict the same pain onto them and then negotiate a treaty banning it. If no country can stand up to USA then they will go on doing it.

I curious, if you don't mind, what is your political doctrine. You sound very anti west. Are you a socialist, communist? No disrespect, it's a legit question.
I'm just basing my opinion on some of your post I have read. After all, on topix, that's all one has to go on.
This should be interesting, up until now A HOMO's status remains unclassifiable, it will argue with anyone about anything and when soundly beaten and proven wrong it will start another thread and argue again and again ad infinitum, Good luck trying to identify what it actually is!

I don't have a favorite political party I treat them all with similar mistrust, so I am referred to as a swing voter...I often like individuals in a party more than their policies and I measure them on intelligence, diplomacy, and a sense of fairness for people regardless of race creed or colour...My mate Rudd had all these qualities. So I tend to favour those with more socialist ideals for many very good reasons, though the major socialist party has moved way too much to the right and the liberals even further out in space.
Abbott fails on two out of the three ATM, it could be three but we have to wait and see how the committee for the Indigenous works out, seeing they are packed with people with more interest in business than a history of indigenous affairs, even though there is one on the board that has strong history in that area (mmmmmm?) the indigenous people didn't ask for Abbott for a committee and are not really happy about it, so will those on the committee seek to aid the indigenous or exploit them and their land for their own gain IE: mining.....my money is on the latter seeing it is the Liberals that engineered it, but they might surprise me seeing it is reported that Abbott has a soft spot for aiding them to a better life?

For some reason, you seem to have a hate boner for Australia. Why don't you leave to a Country like.......Indonesia. You could say sorry all you want to everyone, and we wouldn't have to put up with your crap anymore. It's a win win scenario.

Proving her wrong means nothing, she'll pop back up and continue on as if nothing had been said. And you're right about her being un Australian, I think this comes from the fact that she is some sort of import, I'm still trying to get to the bottom of that but she's very cagey about it

No it's not over yet, give it another week or two for the media to milk this to death and they will have dredged up another non event to hype up.
I used to have serious doubts about average national IQ figures but if these forums give any indication at all the figures line up with the facts.

It's not over yet as Snowden seems set to realease more information on Australia and the spying activities, and that is why Abbott hasn't apologised yet he wants to see how much more is out there so his apology won't seem so lame, so he waits to see what that is so he only has to do it once.
