That's much better. Conversations with old ethnics in taxi cabs, fruit marts, and pizzerias all paint a picture of how boring it was back then. Pubs closed at 6pm, women weren't allowed. They had dance halls but ethnics were prohibited, could only watch Anglo's ballroom dancing from the windows. There was nothing open, very little in the way of food, or any form of entertainment. It was desolate, empty, lifeless, its only draw card was the promise of construction without it migrants looking for somewhere to go following destruction of Europe would have chosen Canada. Must have been a fun place, glad I missed out.

Oh yeah Sydney is much better now. More fat people to look at, ugly stupid Africans attacking people at railway stations, muslim neighbor hoods where white people cant go, mugings, gang rapes, unemployment, drugs, ethnic ghettos oh yeah its really improved. The general population as a whole is getting more and more ugly all the time. The migrants that arrive en masse are not helping the probem either. Always seems to be the crap ones that come here.

Yes Blair et al, are all very right wing. Political parties in Britain like Australia are portrayed as centre right and centre left but itís just a sham. In reality they are all right of the centre field with similar policies, differing only in style and way they appeal to the masses.
I never said that Britain was not historically a great culture with a huge contribution to the world particularly in terms of literature. Itís just that their greatness has long passed, and the centre of civilization is shifting to the east.
But you did and Britain shone not only in terms of literature but in all aspects of your daily life.

Were it not for its scientists, inventors, intellectual and industrial might you'd still be stuck in the Dark Ages, and as for political systems, freedoms, culture and safeguards against exploitation which would you rather choose, the tyranny of China, the cultural SHITHOLE that is India or the liberalism of the country which allows you now to write platitudes without censure and live without fear while offering you opportunities you never would have though possible in your homeland.

What exactly does the East have to offer in the way of civilisation?

That's one person's opinion. A few brief gold rushes doesn't explain how we were so successful for such a long time. We had one of the longest periods of continued growth and lead the way when the GFC hit. Not bad for so called second rate people.
This post says more about you than anything. You trawl the Internet for stuff that paints a bad picture of Australia when you come from one of the biggest shitholes in the world. People in glass houses, you third world monkey..
If Australians are 2nd rate people, what would that make Indians?

Indians must be 100,000th rate people, maybe even less.

Silly Indians that run away from India to western nations, and then complain.
Nothing seems more foolish, but the Indians don't get it.

They are good for a laugh sometimes though. Lol

<quoted text>Didn't have to trawl the internet for that, its something most australians who take more than a superficial interest in the country already know. The mining boom helped us ride out the GFC and our growth is due to that and immigration. Our success is our good luck in having natural resouces.
Helped is the operative word. If we didn't have a stimulus package, we would have fared much worse..

Anyone who calls us second rate people is an idiot. We have made good use of what we have and have built one of the best countries in the world in he space of two hundred odd years. Something most other countries haven't even come close to achieving.

In regards to Indians. Their stupidity is funny. You're right. How can anyone be that proud of a dirty piece of shit that is India..

Yeah we didn't have those things but we didn't have 40 degree days either. We wouldn't have needed air conditioners.

one of the most common bicycle carbon wheels bicycle repairs. I personally recommend replacing a tube when you get a leak, but that is not always possible. If done properly, a patch will work just fine. Hereís how itís done.
Required Tools
With the wheel removed from your bike, inspect the outer surface of the tire to make sure there are no sharp objects like a thumb-tack or thorn stuck in the tread.
Remove Tire
Remove the valve cap and fully deflate carb on bicycle wheelthe tube by depressing the valve stem with the hooked end of your tire lever. There are two main types of valve stems, a schrader valve and a presta valve. This tutorial is based on a schrader valve, but I will be covering the different valve types in another tutorial.
Now itís time to remove your tire, one side at a time. Choose a section of tire that is away from the valve and hook one of the tire levers under the bead, directly in line with one of your spokes. Pry one side of the tire bead over the edge of the rim, and then hook the end of the tire lever to the nearest spoke. Insert another tire lever two spokes away from the first, and a third another two spokes away. Now the middle lever should fall out, and you can continue the process. When the tire is loose enough you can just run a tire lever around the rest of the rim to pull the whole side over.
After you have removed one side of the tire, the ICAbike01 other side should come off very easily.
Now remove the tube from the tire, and try carbon fiber bicycle frameto keep track of where it was positioned in relation to the tire. Inflate the tube to approximately twice its original size. This will expand the hole making it easier to find.
Listen carefully to the entire circumference of the tube; you should hear a hissing sound that will indicate where the leak is. As a last resort you can submerge the tube in water and watch for bubbles, but youíll want to avoid doing this as youíll need the tube to be completely dry in order for the patch glue to work.
Once youíve found the leak, take note of zipp 404whether it is on the inner or outer side of the tube.
If the hole was on the outer side of the tube, inspect the inner surface of the tire in that spot to make sure the object that caused the puncture is not still stuck in the tire. Double check the entire inner side of the tire by running your fingers along the entire surface, feeling for obstacles along the way.
If the hole was on the inner side of the tube, inspect your entire rim to make sure there are no sharp burrs in the metal, and that the rim tape is properly protecting t

You will find this interesting reading then. Extract from wikipedia explaining the origins of "the lucky country" term. Apparently its taken from the 1964 book of the same name by social critic Donald Horne.
-----wikipedia extract --------
"Australia is a lucky country, run by second-rate people who share its luck."
Horne's statement was made ironically, as an indictment of 1960s Australia.
His intent was to comment that, while other industrialized nations created wealth using "clever" means such as technology and other innovations, Australia did not. Rather, Australia's economic prosperity was largely derived from its rich natural resources. Horne observed that Australia "showed less enterprise than almost any other prosperous industrial society."
----------
That was in the 1960's. Guess nothing changes in this country.
Rubbish. We've made our own luck. Natural resources? You mean our tired million year old depleted soils? You are so ignorant- you don't seem to know it's the oldest landscape on earth, mostly semi-desert. Yet we are one of the world's biggest food exporters. You Third World types can't even feed yourselves.

You have chosen the wrong way to argue this. I work in the resource sector and the engineering involved in mining is crazy!

Australians are pioneers in mining, Americans , Japanese and the expertise from the Middle East is astonishing.

The problem is looking at Australian wealth as being independent to the rest of the world. Huge global companies invest here and we literally have the best in the business working from all over the world.

Australia's openess to multiculturalism has allowed us to develop quicker than nations that are not

What you describe is not multiculturalism- it's just doing business. Multiculturalism is social policy, nothing to do business or the economy.

Are you retarded? "White people would want to give up air travel, internet" You do realise that it was white people who created aeroplanes in the first place! I'm pretty sure you will find a lot of things were invented by Anglo people in Western Europe. In fact I'd be interested to see just how many things were invented by the British and Americans, I don't believe the other peoples of the world had the technology of the Anglo sphere. In fact I'm certain they didn't.
