Are you kidding? What the passerby did could be considered assault.

Most perceptions of Asians are wrong.
In general they lack manners and wouldn't help anyone if it meant getting into a confrontation..

That's the stupid thing about our society.
Provocation isn't a defence and giving him a wet willy wasn't endangering him so his assault wasn't justified..

Has the guy been tested for disease? HIV? The wet will very well could have been endangering the performer.

Wrong, sticking your finger in your mouth and putting your body fluids on it and then putting it into another persons ear...could be considered assault with deadly intent.

Did the idiot heckler have aids?

I thought the same thing. However, the laws in Australia may be different than ours.

Am not switching back profiles to answer this. I went ahead and looked it up for the both of us. I somehow thought it was out west (states).

But yes, their laws are as ours: http://books.google.com/books...

Won't let me copy and paste. If you trust google is there for the reading.

I skimmed over it.
My job deals with this stuff. So you could say I have a good idea of what the laws are. It's a stretch to say that the person had HIV and since its not prevalent here, it wouldn't be a defence. If for argument's sake he had a syringe, hitting him or worse could be justified. If you did it to a cop it would be a different story. Our laws are weak as piss and often work in favour of criminals and idiots..

Okay, am back to my right profile. If your job deals with this stuff. I really hope you are on the street performers side. Come on now, you, I, any of us would of belted this guy. He truly had it coming. I thought getting a bit of a bitch slap was weak. I believe after sticking a wet finger in my ear, I would of ripped his off. And I am wee female.

Careful what you say. Americans read your laws are weak down there, you may have more of us coming on down than you would like.~chuckles~

Will admit, our laws tend to caress our criminals and the idiots. Very light handed on some things and heavy handed on others. No doubt...they are back-ass-wards.

Thank you for clearing up the aids thingie. Was helpful. Have a wonderful day~

Thanks. You too.

I also think he deserved it. I would have tried not to do that but I think my anger would've gotten the better of me when he wet willied me.

What I've noticed with the states is that your cops can be quite full on compared to most places here. Most of your basic laws tend to come here later though. Ours is a mixture of English common law with a strong American influence.

Yanks might like our weak laws but they would hate our gun laws. The general opinion over there about guns couldn't be different to here. For example, I am a gun lover. But nothing scares me more than other people with a gun and I don't support the right for other people to have one.

In saying that, I think most Aussies would much rather let in more yanks and Europeans than the 3rd worlders we are getting now..

Interesting statement.

Why does it scare you that other people have guns?

Because I've seen how stupid people are and I don't like being in dangerous situations like that.

I actually got trained to be an armed guard and the day on the range was a really weird day. I loved shooting but felt on edge because of the people around me who were let have a gun..
