This analysis of my anger makes me angry.
Most guys are simple folk.
We're not angry because of some deep seated complicated emotional issue.
In fact I'm sure later today you will be replying in a thread much like this one stating that we all have the emotional maturity of 5 year olds.
Is it immature to be totally inflexible and closed off to change?? That seems to be the core issue.
Peter wrote:
We're angry about things that people don't see as important anymore - you know what's important now days?
Are the boat people being treated ok?
Are the terrorists being dehumanised?
Are the gay people being treated as equals?
Why shouldn't they be allowed to marry anyhow?
Did someone smack their child when he/she was being naughty?
Did something you say not smack of the correct amount of political correctness?
Prime examples - fact of the matter is that these things ARE important in today's world.

And it's all part of our progress as an increasingly civilised society that these things get consideration - where before they were disregarded.

Things change - and they always have done - so why bother wishing it was the distant past?

Our education is a mess - look at some of the spelling on the net.
Our birth rates are Plummeting.
This is what we should be worried about? I don't think education is any worse than what it used to be - and birth rates plummet, beacuse we have a higher standard of living and don't need 8 kids as a retirement plan

I can't find a woman that doesn't want to compete with me, instead of living with me.
I can't even find a woman that's really just happy being a woman, since when did equality mean "THE SAME" ?!?
Women and feminism means that that's what women want and expect now. Adapat or live alone - things change - and if you don't you're left behind.

To what degree do we open ourselves to change? To what degree do we disregard traditionalist views and the structure its provided for the human race to progress as far as they have now? It a new age i am aware regarded as the information age? Traditionalist views suggest a normative approach to a society which todays society view as groupthink or societal fit.

The examples given which you commented on to me are fuelled. Ive lived in an openly gay community it may affect a person who doesnt know what gay is or hasnt seen a gay person, unfamiliar context paired with the familiar (to some) context of marriage tends to fuel the idea that a traditional structure of union is disallowing the change, so todays people see this an inflexible. what does it matter petes opinion whether gays can marry? how does it affect his life? why should it affect his own view, it shouldnt. if bob and rob get married should pete feel as if he needs to change his view on marriage? whether he should consider marrying guys now? no.

in a world of information despite popular belief it is not always in the best interests to give truthful information or whole information.Information has never been just to inform it is influence too. there are a few sides to every story how many sides do people get to hear from newsreader?

Are we an increasingly civilized society? UFC MMA are as gorey as colloseum fights now registering moves they can use on one another that is designed to kill. IS there an inner human savavgery that exists despite progress made through inventions derived from advancing minds?

The great thing about the flexible approach is that realistically not all people are black and white about things. there is alot that exist in the grey and they too need to know where they can stand in the world.

With education reform there are so many imposed views of trying to develop a value system. Yesterday it used to be about honesty. today it could be seen as children living amongst different paradigms. Grey area can create more grey area to the point where we exist unstructured while catering for different needs and upholding more intangible structures of value. This is seen to depend heavily on social moulding in order for this to become widely accepted to become a structure or a universal application.

What is a democracy with people who do not know the full story, who are influenced to believe you are either one or another? even though the views presented are to initiate a change the voting is rigged so that you are either for it or against it. you are either adapter or conservative. are terrorist being dehumanised or is the information given to us dehumanising them.

i am a t girl so i have an exploration of femininity on a psychological perspective. i was a man now i am a woman i did not need public opinion for my choices and i dont need to think people do need to be for or against me. either way i feel how i feel i want what i want. western world is cruel like that where thailand and india dont care for it.

femininity is an extremism alot of it does not create the perceived equalities for women.

I find your comments regarding grey areas and structure quite interesting - I do believe we need structure, as individuals and as a society - where there is no structure there is chaos, where there is rigid structure there is over-control and subsequent risk of fracture under stress. I suppose what is important is whether that structure has a flexible element - structure with flexibility provides for adaptation, that ability to adapt has been the basis for the success of human societies.

Well duh, that would be because the great country we built has been taken over by worthless parasites - Socialists, homosexuals, scrounging foreigners, feminazis, fanatic environmentalists, multiculturalism advocates and their lawyers, all with their lobby groups allied together to intimidate the spineless parliament and force their peculiar brands of bullshit down our throats.
Then we get the living shit taxed out of us to pay for it all.
Then stupid lesbians like you post idiotic accusations like "they explode and start bitch-slapping".
And some other man are angry because of inbred retards with a convict mentality just like you.

I am your fan Mam,.....man......ok don't take it the wrong way
Why is it that there aren't more views such as this, openly discussed in these forums? I tell you why; because people with half a brain are ridiculed with prejudices, coming from uneducated retards with a convict mentality. But people with half a brain couldn't be bothered to engage in primitive animalistic rant exchanges.
Truth is thou, WE need .......Australia is in need of putting the anti social scum in to there proper place. They are an embarrassment to those who are able to take this country forward.
If the convict scum mentality is allowed to prosper, the very people Australia is trying to import, by means of migration are packing up and leaving with a bad after taste of Australia. It is the intellectual creativity of highly educated migrants what we need and not the rejects of humanity.
If they have the skills and attributes to make this country prosper; Then who cares what color, cultural or religious background they are from? Never mind the boat people, they a very small proportion of migrants, and they don't harm anybody unless getting talked down or humiliated.
Maybe someone else something to ad?.........Yah, nay I don't mean the anti bloody everything bogen tosser type, thank you!

Bogan types exist in every country, but you don't see every other country importing people. Supposedly there are too many people on earth and Australia was great before the mass immigration. No need for it.

There is a world wide movement of displaced people for various reasons (religious, economical etc). Take holiday on Europe and you will see masses of legal and illegal migrants. I have been there for 9 month in 2005 and seen it for myself, I suppose it has changed even more since. The rich countries of this world will have to deal with them, we better do it in ways without starting racial wars.
National agitation; Serbia in Europe tried to get solutions to their likings and when I toured Europe, they were the only country, looking like Afghanistan in 2005. All other countries around looked modern and sophisticated and when crossing the border, the thought was like "WTF happened here?"
We will have to adapt to change if we like it or not, may as well make the best of it.
