If the Japanese whaling fleet would only keep a few Afghans and Sri Lankans on board, then the entire crew can pretend to be asylum seekers and the Greens Senators and MP's will cry for them and let them catch more whales.

Whales get in the way of boats and ships. They are a navigation hazard and Japan is doing us a favour. Besides whale blubber tastes good on toast.

Poor place must be bankrupt. Thats why the japs are hunting whales near here again, they have run out of seafood to feed her and they want to get rid of her.

Whale and wagyu are both SO last decade. Biodynamic, bamboo-leaf-fed, nose-to-tail Panda is the new melt-in-the-mouth gourmet meat! Matches well with the 1963 Mildara “Peppermint Patty” Cabernet Sauvignon.

It depends on what a person believes. Australia claims the area Japan was in but it isn't recognised by many countries. So personally I don't believe they were in our waters...

I don't know the exact ruling, but there's only so many nautical miles from the coastline that one can claim to be their country. I guess the nearest country to where the whaling is happening is Australia, so no wonder Oz is barking the loudest, along with NZ.

Speaking of which, the Sea Shepherd are pirates. Good cause but they've stepped way over the line on numerous occasions.
