The MKR girls didn't say anything spontaneously but they said what was told to them by the producers of the show. The show was fixed and girls was paid handsomely to create a controversy and get a high ratings to rake moolah. All this death threat gossip and rude comments about other contestant foodstuff is a publicity stunt. The girls are wise enough not to put their career at stake by involving in a controversy, but everything was pre-planned to capitalise on Indophobia and anti-immigrant sentiments.

I could believe there was some scripting/stage managing but I doubt the producers would pay millions. For one thing those two would blab over their windfall the first chance they got outside of MKR.

Yep, they have promised them a apartment in Sydney, a new luxury car and hundred thousands of dollars. They were told what to say, and how to behave in front of the camera, and what to say in the interview to the newspapers. The show was fixed, because it was pre-planned that they will going to exit in the first round. The reason they have chosen these girls is just to create a publicity stunt, otherwise there is no dearth of talented people with culinary skills.

Why pay these two millions when there are millions starving back home who'd have done it for a hot meal? Come on. Plenty of people auditioned for this show, they got paid a standard wage to film the show.

Indians who came here as poor refugees suddenly got an office job and a house start to act like a high class brahmins and look down on everything.
Bangladeshi especially are very poor look at the country's stats.

In the article the girls state more than once, that they are disliked and not accepted by the Indian community and by normal communities.

And what career exactly should the girls be worried about ruining? lol
I don't think they even have jobs, they are just a couple of airheads that happen to be Indian.

Do Indians think that these two airheads are ruining Indian reputation? I don't think Indians have any good reputation in which to lose. These girls are just a funny reminder about Indians being pure BS.

The show was fixed anyway, they were paid to do all that drama, the girls are not so foolish in real life one is assistant sales manager and other also work part-time. The producers just used these girls so that Indian community appear stupid to the wider Australian audience, that what they want to see, to maintain there stereotypes, but in reality everyone knows how the Australians are, most of whites I have met, hate them, from Ireland, UK, NZ, Canada, believe me its a fact.

India does not qualify for refugee status in Australia, as India has economy bigger than Australia both nominal and purchasing power parity basis. Australia will be a Chinese colony soon anyway, try to apply for refugee status in mother England, mate!! LOL

I don't know about the other countries, but in Canada Australians are seen as good friends and are very similar to us.

Australia is viewed as a great vacation getaway, with great beaches, and friendly people.

I have never met another Canadian that did not like Australia, that would be foolish, what reason would there be for not likening such a similar nation.

Indians have a problem because they have overwhelmed the small country of Australia in a very short time.
If Australians are a bit miffed about that, it would be totally natural.

Indians should blame the Australian government for allowing to many 3rd world immigrants to quickly. It has ruined any positive outlook on immigration from India, etc.

possibly

cos we all know white aussie dogs dont need a second invitation to hurl out racist abuse and obscenities

I wonder what it would be like growing up in a white aussie household

The odds of coming out a well adjusted, regular adult must be minuscule

White aussie children dont have a chance, their idiot parents breed them to be just like them - dropkick wasters

Nothing would surprise me actually. I didn't watch the show, never do.
The girls claim selective editing for how they came across and they are nothing like they were made out to be, which I gather from their statement was, nasty and rude?

The big French guy puts me off watching it, seems arrogant on shows I've seen him on before.

Their comments on a tv show wont hurt a fly. Its just a program & Ive heard worse things coming from people who are supposedly educated. That show barely registers on a 'controversial'.
