This e-mail below was originally sent by a very upset gov employee who is 'involved' in this area. He very well could be another whistleblower. Where there's smoke there's fire, and if there's any truth in this at all it needs to be made public knowledge and investigated. I believe it is being 'investigated' but don't know for sure.

"Three Hundred Boat People at RAAF Sherger Air Base in Weipa.

All men!
All are being accepted into Australia.
All receive the pension same as our pensioners.

All get the same amount again for hardship payment.
Equals twice what our pensioners get.

All receive ..fifty dollars a day for spending money.

Security staff employed to watch them.

Chefs employed to feed them.
One quarter of a tonne of chicken a day alone is cooked.

They wonít pick up their own rubbish.

There was a massive dispute ..because they didnít like the radio station.

Another dispute ..because batteries were flat for the Nintendo games.

Tents set up for mosque prayers had to be air conditioned.

The Bores/Wells set up to run RAAF Sherger adequately ..are now dry because taps are left running all day long.

Sewerage systems ..now blocked with condoms (???) supplied to them [ all men ..remember]

Dept of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC) wants Dept of Defence to pay all the bills so they can hide the costs from the public ..by allowing three hundred poofters into the country."

Telling fibs on immigration policy

By Annabel Crabb - Sep 23, 2010

Having moved well away from the bipartisanship which the immigration portfolio once sensibly enjoyed, the two major parties are now engaged in a horrible, new nodding agreement: That it's OK to lie about immigration policy.

The Coalition's fibs are of a fairly predictable political variety; the classic campaign untruth that exaggerates both the amplitude of the problem and the capacity of the speaker to address it.

Tony Abbott is a warlike Opposition Leader who is determined to extract any political advantage he can, and the Labor Party is historically, deeply and superstitiously freaked-out about refugee policy.

So the lies it tells are justified in the minds of some of the fibbers because they are told for at least partially honourable reasons.

Kevin Rudd's fibs before the 2007 election (I can turn back the boats) were about getting elected.

His fibs as prime minister were about the effects of his own policies on the movement of asylum seekers.

After his government abolished temporary protection visas and the Pacific Solution, Mr Rudd spent a lot of time talking about the importance of a "tough but humane" border protection scheme.

Toughly, humanely, he argued that the subsequent spike in boat arrivals did not have anything to do with his own policy changes, but were entirely the product of "push factors" such as the conflicts in Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Obviously, the push factors were a significant element, but the inability of Labor to acknowledge in any way or take responsibility for the impact of its carefully-taken decisions is symptomatic of the sort of syndrome this policy area induces in Labor MPs.

(Anyone who needs any further convincing about Labor's real opinion about the effect abolishing offshore processing had on the rate of boat arrivals should remind themselves how long it took Julia Gillard to reintroduce the idea after burying Mr Rudd at sea.)

Better to pretend it's not happening - better to stretch the credulity of the Australian electorate by bullshitting them deliberately - than to defend the situation for what it is: an imperfect but well-intentioned solution to a diabolical equation.

These fibs have continued to characterise Labor's approach.

I feel compelled to preface my remarks with the following: Mr. Go Gobar has no table manners. First and foremost, Go wonders why everyone hates him. Apparently, he never stopped to think that maybe it's because you should never forget the three most important facets of his methods of interpretation, namely their vile origins, their internal contradictions, and their tendentious nature. As someone who enjoys brandishing words like "photochronographical " and "galvanocauterization " as a smoke screen to hide his shell games' inherent paradoxes, he must clearly be at a loss when someone presents a logical counterargument to his mentally deficient imprecations. Go's goal is to bring discord, confusion, and frustration into our personal and public lives. This is abject heathenism! I am, of course, referring to a recent occurrence that is so well-known it requires no comment except to add that it's debatable whether Go and his countless imitators are unremittingly hostile towards those of us who indicate in a rough and approximate way the two indecent tendencies that I believe are the main driving force of modern credentialism. However, no one can disagree that it is not uncommon for him to victimize the innocent, penalize the victim for making any effort to defend himself, and then paint the whole shameless affair as some great benefit to humanity. Mr. Go Gobar's voiced intentions don't match his actual intentions. And that's the honest truth.

No, he didn't ferry them anywhere, he is (supposed to be) an operator based in Weipa. People in the "refugee industry" see much and talk to each other so they all probably know what's really going on at all the detention centers.

There was an employee on Christmas Island a while back who leaked the real number of refugees there, and it was 300+ more than the gov said there were - I think it was the SMH who posted that story... but there was no more said about it - of course. Just another Gizzard lie to add to the list.

I don't think they would know much, seeing the detention centres are run by an American crowd who would have silence contracts with their employees much like Pine Gap.

A quarter of a ton of chicken EVERYDAY????

Do you really have to ask if this is true or not.

An OBVIOUS hoax.

Apparently some believe everything that shows up in their inbox, and so I'd like to talk to you about a large sum of money that I'm willing to sign over to you from the estate of a Nigerian prince.
