Yeah, dream on!!....most people didn't know enough, didn't educate themselves enough on the parties or their policies and voted for a party that virtually had none, they just ticked the Liberal box after being influenced by the continual negative advertising from the Liberal biased media using propaganda, unfair caricatures and most of all an unadulterated lie by Abbott that remained mostly uncontested and unopposed by the media monopoly, who assisted in perpetrating the lie that our economy was in the toilet! Something should be done about this line of political unfairness and bias against our democratic rights.

Whinge whine whinge Thunder.

The right party won. Australians agreed we could not stomach another term of mismanagement.

I look forward to some belt tightening and a return to a strong economy.

Now liberals can return the budget to surplus and hopefully restore some of the australian people's faith in our political system. What Kev and Julia did was moronic and immature. She set back women in politics 20 years. And they together almost completely destroyed the publics faith in our political system.

Thankgod the australian people arent as fickle, close minded and biased as some thunder.

A: The Liberal voters aren't that intelligent.

A: Another falses statement, our economy under Labor is one of the sixth strongest in the world, let's see if Abbott can lose that for us?

A: It has been openly state the Liberals will not return it to surplus any sooner than Labor would have done, around 2016/17, you are one of the uneducated LT!
Thankgod the australian people arent as fickle, close minded and biased as some thunder.
A: The majority of Liberal voters wouldn't even know who the treasurer or deputy leader is, talk about fickle! It would be nice to go out on the street and ask all those who voted Liberal some basic facts about who they voted for....they wouldn't have a clue, after all they voted in a party that failed to cost 3 of the policies they went to the election on....and they wouldn't know that the Labor NBN is a far better and in the end more cost effective system than the Liberal one which will give most residence archaic copper that is has some major problem with fall out and maintenance and at only 14 billion less than Labors that will be up to the future with optic fibre.. useless tits.

News Corp decides elections. Majority of australians, and nearly all liberal die hards are uneducated (aside from the chardonnay class on the lower north shore who are simply ignorant of the rest of australia and the world) as is proven on topix and elsewhere by tards with a 7 word vocabulary and with a grasp of facts that is clearly news corp.

"Majority of australians" .... how many times do we hear that a day ?

The Majority of Australians must be sick of being told what they like and don't like by left leaning pedophiles like Alex Gollan.

on the back of the resources boom as we had, Berlusconi could have kept us out of recession.

Important to note the lab gov did manage to stifle the ongoing resources boom through the carbon tax. Some 150b of new projects were shelved almost immediately. So the legacy of the labour gov you tout is still yet to be fully realised.

So you need to clean your labour coloured glasses.

The only thing you said that echos truth is the NBN. Not happy with Libs on this either.

Would rather have this negative and a well managed country. Than a sucessful NBN and no economy and a ranga leader who makes you cringe everytime she opens her mouth.

You did not comment on what the immature in fighting did for our political landscape.

Another thread that continues the media induced idiocy that has existed under the last 3 years of hung parliament.......(lol).....the re are some cold hard facts that stand any scrutiny....the economy has stayed strong and grown , unemployed has been kept down to an acceptable level and there is not any budget emergency or debt that is beyond being quite easily managed .....It seems many people , after being force-fed a regular diet of fabricated sensationalism for 6 years , are distraught and nervous about where their next fix is gonna come from.......(lol)

A: Howard and Costello had twelve years of a mining boom compared to what! six years of Labors and the Libs had NO global crisis and a pultry 20 billion dollars surplus after selling off what was left of our assets, which totalled four times that amount......so what did the Libs do with the money? did the give it to health...NO did they increase the pension...NO so where did it go....Oh I know some of it went to a war based on lies that Labor also inherrited from them....20 billion wouldn't have paid to have the military at wars shoes shined small stuff....
So you need to clean your labour coloured glasses.
A: My Labor glasses are not only clean I have glasses by which I can at least see out of.
The only thing you said that echos truth is the NBN. Not happy with Libs on this either.
A: Yet you still voted for them?
Would rather have this negative and a well managed country. Than a sucessful NBN and no economy and a ranga leader who makes you cringe everytime she opens her mouth.
A: You can't win on that lie, you are not Abbott with a following of uneducated idiots....
You did not comment on what the immature in fighting did for our political landscape.
A: Funny how people don't mention how Turbull was not even mentioned in Abbotts thank you speech? In fighting happens in all parties, the Libs are just good at decieving the voter, but those of us who have been around to see it knows it bubbles just under the surface...whether that be with Howard and Costello or Abbott and Turnbull etc, etc, etc .

yep they managed to keep us in surplus every one of those 12 years right? You dont address the carbon tax killing off continued mining industry investment.

Selling off our assets such as Telstra, which were incredibly well managed under government governance I take it you mean. Which certainly hasnt resulted in a better customer experience.

I guess the country would be far better off if we all only drank chai lattes and or wheatgrass shooters, we practiced severe protectionism and gave free hugs to everyone who applied for asylum.

Nah you see stuff really clearly.

thunder you arent that stupid that I need to illustrate the difference between some in fighting and the travesty perpetrated right in the publics eye do I?

Anyway doesn't really matter, as it turns out the people agree with me. Sick of labour and their greeny mates. Time to focus on the economy, AND GET IT RIGHT.

Correct. That's why the new Abbott government intends to keep Labors policies relatively unchanged , due to the success it has been over the last 6 years.

paid of $96b debt,$50b future fund & left a budget with a forwards estimate of $97b surplus over the next 3 years.$20b surplus. More households having a employed breadwinner rather than welfare. Higher workforce participation. Lowered interest rates over 10%. Created business opportunities so almost 400,000 apprenticeships were learning a skill. 400,000 more uni places. Darwin railway. Tripled the health budget to $51b health budget & $1b extra into public schooling all come to mind.

The first political party Rupert ever supported was Labor .
He woke us up when he said that Labor was bad for the economy .

More so that it would be a total waste of money already spent if they cancel those programs.

Sorry , but facts is facts.....besides that , a lot of people , besides me , also voted Labor....or did someone tell you that 100% of voters picked Tony Abbott ? Unless Australia comes under the rule of a dictator , my opinion shall remain as valid as yours and everyone elses..(lol).....the election is over , but the bullshit continues....the current claim is that the new government has a "mandate for everything"....although just over 30% of voters thought that the "carbon tax" was not an important issue , the new government continues to claim that the election was a "referendum on the carbon tax".....?....I was hoping this sort of nonsense would stop after the election , but it seems the new government intends to govern with bullshit from the get-go.
