Upon research on Shwebomin II, I find that he is a fake.
.
Yes she invited sanctions and stopped FDI which are bad for Burma. Maybe she wants power. But to my mind she won in an election free and fair so I will support her right to be in power, up until the next elections if the people of Burma vote her out.
.
To my mind it is the military junta that is responsible for sanctions and blockade of FDI and tourism. I hope in the interest of the Burmese people the junta will allow democracy to take hold and give up power in the next three months, and hold elections. Or this time the people or India may well rally behind Suu Kyi, and will make life VERY uncomfortable for the Junta. She is already very popular in India if you have noticed.
.
Who ever wins should be the one to make the constitution and laws and control administration and executive,- as is the norm in any true democracy. If people later don't like what she does vis a vis the constitution or economic policies, they will vote her out of power in next election. I will then support who ever is voted in, to be in power in Burma then; who can then change amend the constitution / laws as he she deems fit.(Even if I disagree with their or Suu Kyi's policies themself).
.
Main point is she won the elections , she has the support of Burmese people, SO SHE HAS MY SUPPORT. Convince me otherwise and I will drop her like a hot brick.
.
I also think a REPUBLIC is WAY BETTER than a constitutional monarchy, especially for Burma which has not had a King for over a hundred years now and people are no longer sentimental and sensitive about a King.
Any country that is not a republic is not really a full democracy. Republic means by the public.

Democracy means real power in the hands of the people. That means power to choose government by elections, financial power through free market capitalism. IT means free speech and right to information garaunties for all individuals. That is what is best for Burma, that is what is best for all Humans.

Best of luck Burma. People of India are with you.

Hello moron,
You are out of touch with the realities of politics. Your republican ideology is keeping the very poor of India in pitiful conditions. Capitalism is replacing the Hindu caste system. Admit it.

Democracy is an ideology just like communism is. do you mean to say that India is not corrupt? Vist the slums of Bombay/Mumbai. What hapends to Bombay duck? Munbai Duck? You too ignorant to know what it is?

'People of India are with you'. who the f*ck are you to speak on behalf of India people, who know only what the media say.

You pathetic bulls*it. Your group of perverse people like I am a Hindu and Joseph Htoomyat Thu is growing to the detriment of India and Burma. Stop the plague!

What matters for society is IDEALS not ideologies. How come North Korea call itself Democratic Republic? Think about it.

Republic is not necessarily democracy. Start thinking!

At least inform yourself of the basics before you start your mindless trolling and disinformation campaign.

India has been a hardline left near communist country under congress party up until 1991, when it started reforming its economic policies under P V Narasimha Rao and MM Singh, who made India into a partial free market economy (sans free market in labour sector). Which is when India bcame a partial success and an 'emerging' economy. India still does not manufacture or export much because of irrational labour laws and red tape, and no big consumer goods manufacturer will come in to set up factories here, Indian or foreign. So no industry to create mass employment. IT IS THEREFOR THAT INDIA HAS BEEN SO POOR for long.

But things are changing fast. With 2nd stage reforms under way, hopefully labour reform will be done soon, and we will be more capitalist (republican?) and our growth will surely cross 12-13 percent initially.

India never had 'my rebublican ideology' before. So if it was poor, it must've been due to its (pseudo) socialist ideologies that only sound good on paper and that too, to halfwits like you.

And what is wrong with capitalism replacing pseudo-hindu caste system. A very good thing is replacing a very bad thing. What si wrong with that?

Stop breathing Dumbass, you're wasting oxygen, your mindless brain does not need it.
