You appear to be getting confused between Japan and China.

It's the Chinese VP who apparently died. They spent weeks trying to find a lookalike. Apparently they even counterfeit faces now.

The whole world is always concerned with China. As well they should be.

Prince Harry, Biden, Obama etc can go take a hike and no one would even notice. Not so for China's leaders.

You are a loser if you ask for facts, which are as follows:
The Diaoyu islands have been part of China since the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), serving as important fishing grounds administered by the province of Taiwan. This can be fully proven by history and is legally well-founded.
Taiwan was ceded to Japan by the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) in the Treaty of Shimonoseki in 1895, after the Sino-Japanese war.
Taiwan was returned to the Republic of China in 1945 after the surrender of the Empire of Japan on September 2, 1945.
On September 8, 1951, the Treaty of Peace with Japan (commonly known as the Treaty of San Francisco or San Francisco Peace Treaty) was signed by Japan with 48 nations. Article 3 of the treaty states that Japan will concur in any proposal of the United States to the United Nations to place under its trusteeship system, with the United States as the sole administering authority, Nansei Shoto south of 29deg. north latitude (including the Ryukyu Islands and the Daito Islands), Nanpo Shoto south of Sofu Gan (including the Bonin Islands, Rosario Island and the Volcano Islands) and Parece Vela and Marcus Island. Pending the making of such a proposal and affirmative action thereon, the United States will have the right to exercise all and any powers of administration, legislation and jurisdiction over the territory and inhabitants of these islands, including their territorial waters.
Due to the ongoing Chinese Civil War, neither the Republic of China nor the People's Republic of China were invited to the San Francisco Peace Conference, and neither were parties to the San Francisco Treaty.
On June 17, 1971, under the Okinawa Reversion Treaty, a reversion was agreed between Japan and USA concerning the Ryukyu Islands and the Daito Islands. The PRC indicated her sovereignty claims with respect to the Diaoyu islands to the United Nations Security Council at the time of the US transfer of its administrative powers to Japan.
The last owners were the US. The US relinquished the islands to Japan. Those are the facts.

Historical merit means shit if the US owned the islands. Not only that, it hold to much significance in court. As far as Im concerned, if the US owned the islands, then they can choose who they want to give the islands too. China is just mad that they didn't get the islands.

You do know you can go to court on this.

Correcting a typo... Sorry.

"Historical merit means shit if the US was the last owners of the islands."

The next sentence after that about the historical information not holding up in court would be something I would retract and made a typo on. Im not sure about that part.

i agree but chinese love japanese more than taiwanese or chinese hate taiwanese or fearful of japanese . chinese consider japanese their brothers but not taiwanese or chinese consider themselves japanese but not taiwanese.

the curse of Ilan Isle graves will sadly claim a new senior japanese figure soon when ryukyuan tides blow west. it will be fatal....

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Cancer

Take care because it's a rather downbeat day. You feel as though you have the cares of the world on your shoulders, and maybe you have. You've certainly got to cope with a lot of responsibility and duty, and there could also be delays and disappointments that need to be negotiated. Yes, it's a fairly miserable day but try to rise above it, otherwise you'll soon start to feel really wretched and sorry for yourself.
