(SBU) Sometimes for pure vanity, sometimes as a charm against traffic police, Armenia’s residents are picking their own license plate numbers and paying handsomely for them. Flashy number plates have become de rigueur for Yerevan’s flashy cars, and identify relatives and close associates of Armenia’s tycoons. As even the middle classes cannot resist the temptation to pick their own lucky numbers, custom license plates have become a steady source of informal income for Armenia’s traffic police and another sign of Armenian society’s willingness to support petty corruption. End summary.

Do you have something against creative license plates?? I for one would like to have my lucky number on my license plate. I see nothing wrong with this.

Vayreni, my dialogue with you comes from a good place. I do not need internet enemies. It just seems so far out your total disregard for our only Armenia. Not perfect, but in a vital process to survive. Armenia is part of empires, has been for centuries, one or the other empire take your pick. We survive within this dynamic and hopefully learn and grow... Maybe your hate is part of the learning process and not the final product.

Process includes everything, including the dark side of human nature. As the economy evolves so does the society. All things have cycles based on the cycles of nature. You can not harvest in winter, in spring it is the time for planting the seed.
These are the laws we are governed by.
Our Hayastan is a new born baby, you are demanding that he becomes a doctor already.
It takes time, it takes work, it takes wisdom.

yet they market, and advertised how Hayvanstan is the First Christian Nation, the 1700th anniversary..that's real wisdom there..I guess a new born baby is quite good at thievery yet telling people how Christian he is.....

New Born babies are born sinless...you're saying it's okay to be born a thief as long as you change. The so-called idiots who run that sh*thole weren't born in 1988 nor were they babies......

Lastly, you don't live there and never had, easier for you to say....than actually do...

then after what you wrote makes us "smarter" than any other group of people like most of the forum clowns and Armenians claim?
