Did Pakistan know where bin Laden was hiding?

The death of Osama bin Laden in a fortress-like compound on the outskirts of a Pakistani city that is home to three army regiments and thousands of soldiers raises questions over whether Pakistani security forces knew the whereabouts of the world's most wanted man. Full Story

Of course they knew. But, as long as the US kept dumping money down that pest-hole, they could pretend they were helping us fight terrorism. Can we stop giving them our hard earned tax money now? We need it here!

I think that Pakistani exactly knew where bin Laden was at because all the other times they have tried to find him and had Pakistani involvement with what the United States military they could not get the job done so there had to be someone in Pakistani government was telling Ben Ladin about it before they attacked. And this time and the United States military Them out of it and that's the reason they got him. I would say that Pakistan leaders are very to face individual's and just using the US military to protect them from the terrorist but not this niche out that live because they were afraid that they would be attacked against him

Pakistan (along with Saudi Arabia) is the root of most of the terrorism in the world. Stop supporting these dirt bags. Stop sending food and aid to Pakistan. Send loaded B52s instead.

To anyone with half a brain, it should be obvious that Pakistan is the two-faced "friend" that we all knew, and grew to hate, at one point in our lives.

We should be cultivating friendships with true friends, like India (They fixed my computer remotely, so they must be friendly, right?). And they HATE Pakistan.

We WANT the Pakis to be our friends, but they're not. Give money to people that DON'T hate our guts.

This event proves that the capital of Pakistan and the capital of terrorism are the same place (Islamabad).

Sure it's the easiest thing to neatly pigeonhole all countries and peoples. F**cking dunegoons, right?

Pakistan is a very diverse country and it's obvious the present regime wants to keep the fundamentalists out of power. If they didn't, they wouldn't get bombed every other day.

And yes, it is very much possible to hide right under their noses. You could err...get two couriers to run all your errands while staying inside yourself. Not very difficult at all.

Yes Pak army ISI hid him for years until US threaten to stop aid unless full cooperation. ISI decide nothing more can be gained and more can be lost in keeping him hidden. They told US exact corodinates, movements, timings including his bedroom location. ISI / US decide better to kill him to stiop him embarrassing Pak army by telling world they had hidden him. Now all this childish hoodwinking that they knew nothing makes normal person sick of hearing it.

Abbotobad is not only military academy but close to nuke sensitve sites. It is job of ISI to know each and every person living there and to carry out frequent checks. Therefore this was perfect place to keep Osama hidden and to keep prying eyes out i.e outside intelligence agencies.

so it is clear they knew where he was but money talks louder with Pak army and nuke technology talk louder with nuke mad ISI.
