It's now the law for employers to pay their maids or house staff like drivers, gardeners, yaya, etc. to pay their SSS...it might not have been regulated when you were there...you're the boss, offering is different from doing the right thing...
Were you dropped on your head as a child?
I was more than willing to pay their SSS. They chose to steal it. I am not going to stand in line for them. They made their choice and they will have to suffer the consequences. Only one of them was smart enough to realize that when she is too old to work that revenue will be there.
You really have no clue how the SSS works in PH???? lol, you're so caught lying....You're the boss, it's your moral obligation to do the right thing, not the maid.
Actually, I understand it far better than you. When you work for an embassy, scrutiny is expected. I included the SSS provision in each employee's contract. I was willing to provide the employee share provided they pay theirs. That is the law. The employee MUST pay into it. They were the ones trying to break the law.
Not all fishermen ...but we're talking of corruption. The term for using dynamite and cyanide should be another term not corruption?
Okay, thanks for proving that you were dropped on your head and suffer mightily from it. I never wrote that ALL of any group. You made a blanket statement though.
It is against the law to dynamite and cyanide fish. It is against the law to fish in protected waters. It is against the law to sein fish in mot of the RP. All of those things happen because Filipinos choose to disregard the rules and steal what is not rightly theirs. That is called corruption. They have corrupted the law.
It is no different than the squatter who says' "I only make 200 pesos a day so I am going to build a shack ere, on someone else's land. I will teal their water supply ad tap into their electrical service. You approve of that because they are merely trying to survive.

It just comes down to the fact most Filipino's are corrupt. There is no law to keep them in check so they feel free to do as they wish. That's why they scream bloody murder when they go to the States and have to pay the price for breaking the law.

Here they say "let them go". Many judges will not grant bail because their such a flight risk. LOLOL!!!! My neighbor had to train and jump all over his fiancee to not throw garbage. When they got to the States and she learned how to drive in the first week she threw a drink cup out the window and got nailed a $500.00 fine for littering.

My buddy deducted that money from the money she sends to her family here. She didn't do it again.

And they did not grant bail to Arroyo so she can stay out??? So is that corruption?

Better Don, if you go and sit down in a doctor's chair and tell all your issues why whenever you want to talk normal, only garbage comes out....

$500.00 dollar fine for throwing a drink cup????? That's definitely mind boggling to be fined $500.00. There is no such ordinance, unless if the cup was a glass and fell in the policeman head and cause laceration...lolllllllllllllll llllllllllllll

talking of disregarding the rules ....point back to yourself for knowing that your employees were stealing, yet you did not do anything about it. Mr trying hard, in the book of law, you, the employer is responsible to do the right thing.

Remember, there was a millionaire lady who run for governor against Governor Brown. She hired an illegal alien...so she was legally responsible even when she said, she was not aware of it..lollllllll so how much more for you who became a connivance or you tolerated that your maids will not pay SSS. But don't worry, I know, during your time, maids are not required to contribute to the SSS.

By the way, Mr trying hard to boast of knowing it all, you as employer don't have to make the line. For private small and big companies...they have employees to take care of the SSS reports, collections, etc.

During your period of time when maids salaries and SSS contributions were not regulated, it was a very simple math....if you were aware that your maids opted not to contribute to the SSS and steal the money that you were generously giving them for the SSS, you have the right to stop giving them the money for SSS you claimed they're stealing....OMG ...WHAT A VICIOUS WORLD always victimizing the victims...

It is painfully obvious that you know nothing about the laws regarding SSS payments for domestics. Even more, you know nothing about remitting the payments. You see, you are a domestic while I am the boss. Stick to cleaning toilets and I will keep enjoying life.

Don I think you're mistaken. I'm willing to bet at least 95-98% of all Americans couldn't point out the Philippines on an unmarked map. The Philippines has absolutely no relevance to most Americans as they know nothing about the place

I'll take that bet.

Careful, a recent Pew study showed over 30% of Americans possess a Bachelor's degree. Even if 10% of those 31 million know where the RP is, that would challenge your assertion.

Of the estimated 313,000,000 Americans, 17 million are of Asian ancestry. 3.4 million alone are Filipino. I'm pretty sure they know where the Philippines is on a map.

What's your wager?

Boss..ing...in your dreams, in your first post, you said:
" I knew plenty of people who felt no shame in not paying taxes. Of my eight house staff, only one paid SSS. I know because I paid the employer's part."...

FYI, it is a requirement of the SSS to require legitimate employers, not the bogus one like you, to take care of accomplishing the SSS employment report for employer/employee's monthly premiums to the SSS. That goes in one sheet, summarizing the names of your employees, their monthly rate....then the amount the employer's share and another column for the employee's share. As you are the employer, you automatically deduct the employee's share from her salary. Then you get the total amount of employer's employees' premium payments and issue one check to the SSS...lolllllllllllll too much farting of fpide chicken being the boss while I'm a domestic helper.

During your time, when salaries of maids were not regulated, they were not required to pay SSS; it was only last year that there was a law passed regulating the salaries of maids and all employers are required to pay their SSS premiums.

Keep on boasting as a boss and as you're caught lying and painfully hurt, losewerrrrrrrrrrr...

lollllllllllllllllllllllllllll llllll
