Someone please tell me how this is about race. I am listening to idiot Al Sharpton, THE KING OF RACIAL INFLAMATION, blabber about Michael Jackson breaking through racial barriers. Just shut up, Al, once and for all. Michael Jackson was born of the Motown era, where EVERYBODY was black; so tell me how his particular talent had anything to do with breaking racial barriers. And besides, he DIED a white man with white children. So obviously, to Michael Jackson himself, it was not ANYTHING about being black. Nor should it be!!!!

Only in America can we be living through challenges and everyone is glued to the memorial service for a drug addict child molester. They should have had it on Pay Per View....
This is an example of why the US is headed toward ruin...

Actually, it was the first time I ever listened to that man and agreed with what he said - it wasn't racial, it was profound - and what Michael Jackson himself believed.

If you are too young to have seen him in concert, and to know what it was he really stood for, your opinion means nothing.

The city of LA is mourning the loss of 4 million dollars to cover this circus. The Jackson's had their funeral, now let the Jackson's pay for it. I'm sure old Joe has it in his right pocket.

Old Joe needs to be in jail for being crook. Pwilson is right, LA should not have to pay this money. Let the Jackson family pay for it.

As a matter of fact, I grew up with Michael Jackson. We were born the same year. I was actually a huge fan in my younger years. I bought every album he ever made through Thriller. What does ANY of that have to do with the fact that Sharpton was spouting off about how Michael Jackson brought black people into white people's living rooms, and made it OK (his words) to be black in a white world. My whole POINT was that Michael Jackson did not become famous because he was black, nor did he himself ever once (that I heard) play the race card.(remember the song Black or White?) The only ones doing that is Sharpon and (I forget his name) the guy who told "us white people" on the BET awards that THEY(blacks) shared this black man (MJ) with us. Nothing Al Sharpton could ever say could be profound. So, maybe your opinion is the one that doesn't count.

Well, seeing as AEG owns Staples arena (and was the main player in financing the London 02 shows -just for gain), I'm not sure how they can't take on the responsibility of securing the "event". Nevermind the fact that they were initially going to charge $25 per ticket.

Yep - just think of the fiasco raised should those batshitf'loonballs ever get to the casket just to grab for memorabilia. I remember a leather jacket getting torn to pieces when JackO made his debacle at the 2006 WMA show. It was really disturbing to watch. I can just imagine what those people would do to a corpse.

The "Show" today was over the top. To make the city pay for it is ridiculous. I thought it was way over done but hey I did not have to pay for it. The only thing that mde me want to break my plasma was Al " stick you nose in everything and talk too much " Sharpton.. He would not shut up the rest was in good taste. This will not be over the vultures are circling

Man, are you nieve! If Sharpton were the next to go nobody would really care. He's just a lying sack of trouble and can't wait to play that race card to stir everybody up. Good riddance when he goes. They're all FUBAR and belong in hell together.
