Embarrassment

As usual, I am not surprised with the high level of intellectual trash coming from such a scrambled brain that feeds a constantly moving mouth. Unfortunately, our good Governor has again embarrassed himself and the state with such an idiotic comment.

You can say that the poor guy doesn't know any better and means well, but upon a closer look, can see his bigotry showing through.

He's right. It is like having a war zone, next door. I'll bet the Izzys could solve the illegal immigration problem for us, too.

Rick Perry is a moron! The Gaza strip, come on the Gaza Strip is at war for other reasons, two groups of people are fighting over religious freedom and yet the US funds the Israeli terrorists and the Palenstines are the ones called terrorists. The drug dealers of Juarez are way different, they are not the majority of people. If the people of Mexico really care about Mexico they need to stand up against the dealers, and not rely on the Mexican government. Mexicans used to have pride in their country yet they don't want to fight for the drug dealers for a country that needs to be saved. I am from the US and while I love the US, I also love Mexico, I would live and die for both countries because whether people like it or not, when one country suffers so does the other. The drug violence will eventually spill over to the US, unless the people of both countries do something. We are too busy trying to fight a race war to realize that the drugs will eventually spill over.

Israel, at the start of the "Seven Day War," attacked the USS Liberty and killed 34 US Navy personnel. The attack took place during daylight and the USS Liberty was flying the American flag. The USS Liberty was a research ship and not an attack vessel. Israel said the attack was a mistake but a review of US papers revealed we did not believed Israel. Israel has not only occupied Gaza for over 50 years but it has, contrary to International laws, constructed settlements inside Gaza. The US currently has Jonathan (Jay) Pollard in jail for spying for Israel against the US. Israel also stole atomic secrets for the US and developed an atomic bomb in cooperation with South Africa which at that time under apparteid rule(racists). Israel successfully exploded the bomb.

The city "Next Door" is not lobbing mortars or having terrorists cross over into the US killing innocent people sitting in outdoor cafes with hit squards. There are no car bombs, snipers or two governments at odds with each other.

There are drug gangs, being funded by Americans that use drugs and being armed by gun dealers in the U.S., that are fighting over the drug users in America. Mexico has troops in Juarez and else where trying to stop this problem that really has lots to do with America's snorting and puffing.

Now how does any of that compare to Gaza???

The Govorner knows nothing of the Texas border cities and is just mouthing an opinion that has no basis in fact, to sound like he does know something - when he doesn't. A problem can't be solved until one understand what the problem is, and this Govorner doesn't have a clue.

You are an idiot. Of course there are differences....otherwise he would have said mexico IS the gaza strip. There are lessons to be learned there. They have a LOT of experience with things that we could learn from. BUT NOOOO, you just rather sit on your computer and complain and try to tell people what to do. Which brings me to my next point...If you are willing to die for mexico, GET ON WITH IT! Couple of days in J-town should about do it. Adios.
You are a lying sack of chit coward.

Do you actually read what you write before hitting the "post comment" button? if not I would suggest to do it before embarrassing yourself.

Seriously, you just defied the intellect of every poster with your post...

"Of course there are differences....otherwise he would have said mexico IS the gaza strip" - how high would you rate this comment in the IQ chart? yeap, just what I thought...

Maybe the comparison is off, but the message can be clear,...avoid the mistake in thinking that this is another countries problem....ANNEX MEXICO!
Don't be quick to judge,...we can centralize almost all the western hemisphere crime in one united country and eliminate a quandry at the same time. Estados Unitos Mexicanos & United States of America,... The new country could be Estados Unitos Americanos!!! Could use the peso thus justifying the worthlessness of our money.

I think that the comparison with the Gaza Srip with Mexico serves a political purpose, but on the ground the reality is very different.

Why is it different?

Politically it serves conservatives to cling to the image of the Mexican bandito, reconquista, failed state next door, brownish alliens up to no good... it is what sells in the Media, and sells very good.

The economical reality, is that Mexico is gaining fast in the foreign trade of the USA, and maybe in a number years it could surpass China as main source of manufactured goods (currently, 22% China and decending, 15% Mexico, ascending).

Greetings from Mexico.
