Southwest Eighth Street, which runs from the edge of Brickell near Biscayne Bay straight west into the Everglades, is for many reasons considered the heart of Miami. In the latter half of the 20th century Little Havana grew up around it as hundreds of thousands of Cubans fled Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Miami became "The Magic City" thanks to the Cuban entrepeneurs who originally settled here and made a new industry and a new city rise out of the swamplands!

What is sad is the ZERO political and ZERO police standards which the Miami Cuban community has called "government".

Did you know that Miami-dade was rated as WORSE run city in USA and that swer of political corruption, Hialeah close behind?

What a shame that to flee Castro , talk so much BS yet show that this is what you are about.

"Miami Is 'Worst-Run' City in America: Report"

Magic City tops list of America's worst-run cities, Hialeah close behind

Superb! Kudos to Mel Gibson, A very balanced film! A marvelous movie! Untilthe Europeans arrived, there was no constructive engagement....the savage aborigenes were nucking futs!!!!

These culipardos need to decapitate each other as in "APOCALYPTO" so The Magic City will shine again!

At least, I, Curious George aka Bubba aka open mind and a few others, think so!

As corrupt and self serving as the majority of Miami Cuban politicos are, I find the food in Miami eatery's that good.

In other words I LOVE the food here and can honestly say, never ate in any place that wasn't good.
