So it took foreign news agency to come forward and recognise growing clout of ethnic Asians & Indians into Australian society. Otherwise the mainstream Aussie media, is still blowing the trumpet of Whiteness, as if other ethnicities does not exist here. Australians do not recognise Indians as Asians, they still want to pursue divide and rule policy of Lord Dalhousie, this Colonial hangover, needs to be treated for a more inclusive and integrated society which represents everyone.

Yes, but Asians "who came here to benefit from our way of life" should also be respectful of our legacy & future here as well. I would like to see more Asians in the media as well. You guys are getting slightly overlooked by the top brass at the moment.

According to British Broadcasting Corporation, Australia is 12% ASIAN(Including India and Srilanka ) now, in 2030 it will be 30% Asian and in 2050 50%, than it will be a truly multicultural country. 50% was also the traget of Ex Singaporean PM Lee and ex Malaysian President Mahatir Mohd.
