Malkanthi Edirisinghe, the wife of a Sri Lankan inmate killed during a prison riot, weeps outside the police morgue after an autopsy in Colombo yesterday Sri Lankas main opposition party yesterday demanded an independent inquiry into a prison riot that left 27 convicts dead, alleging many were shot by security forces in a cold-blooded massacre.
