What you must do is to start looking to move to places that are higher than sea-level to live. The added water to the atmosphere feeds the energy in twisters of all kinds. The earth will soon start to have twisters that will last for weeks at a time at peak strength. The reason is climatic and perhaps even biblical, we must all adjust to the facts in order to survive though. Quit playing around and educate yourself... Go to places like Google Earth, National Geographic and the like to see the absence of ice that should be on the poles for yourself... do a small experiment (take a clear glass, lay a layer of sand on the bottom, take a rock that fits in the glass on the sand and mark it for the intended water level, fill the cup with water to that level, the water should cover the sand and come up to the mark on the rock, put a mark slightly above that to represent you and you home, take an icecube and set it in the cup to melt... When the ice has melted see if you are under the water level? Was the mark representing and your property submerged)? Think this through.

This is a reply of the tsunami disaster after which a few hundred, then a few thousand were reported killed. Like after the tsunami, I expect token US aid and substantial aid only from Asian neighbors, especially Thailand and Australia, and some European countries.

China does have alot of monies dont they.

I believe any one who can help should of course with proper constraints. But also I have constraints about helping people building a community under a volcano and I'm using this as a analogy.

Also it is correct it dosent always have to be monies directly, it could be medicines, materials, survival goods etc.

When a cyclone is approaching, there really isn't enough visible warning to evacuate. I've been through a few hurricanes, and things seem fairly normal until it's too late.

Myanmar's government had plenty of warning from international weather satellite images. They just chose to downplay the danger because A) they wanted to appear in control and B) they didn't have the resources to coordinate a mass evacuation, so attempting one would make them seem to lack control.

Basically, 100,000 people are dead because control freaks were allowed to retain power.

There is also the phenomenon known as "survivorship bias" to explain "miracles".

Basically, if 100 people pray and only one lives, you'll hear the miracle account of how prayer "saved me from certain death". You won't hear anything about how 99 prayers were ignored.
