More young Syrians disillusioned by the revolution

Full story: Stars and Stripes

The trip was long, about 400 miles across the desert from Damascus. As Ahmed swayed in his seat next to another man, the bus slowed and then stopped.

Lol, yes I don't doubt our friend is adamant in his own view being the one and only truth, I only try to bait him like I did before, which you've spotted and uncovered lol, so we can start discussing. I do hope he eventually will open up to other possible and probably more likely scenarios, then we can start getting somewhere..I hope.

Syrian opposition Government was formed in Turkey, and Qatar; just as Libyan Government was formed in Paris, France; and just as Afghanistan’s Government was formed in Berlin, Germany. And NATO is still babysitting Afghanistan’s Government, because, after a decade of occupation, it cannot sell it to the Afghanistan’s people. And Libyan Government is kept standing, by the Guards of armed criminals; while Libyan people live with lootings, killings, and similar.
So you just agreed with inv e, "Ok, but when there is a rebellion and an opposition government is slowing being formed, wouldn't that be a civil war?"

I disagreed with your propagandist, and I put my arguments; which other posters understood, but as usual, you conveniently did not understand it.

It is not a civil war, when foreign countries infiltrate into the Country paid killers to fight the Government. And then, these same foreign countries, on their territory, compose the Government; consisting of emigrants from targeted country, living outside of the country for a long time, and a few power hungry traitors, who just deserted their country. Then foreign powers install that Government under protection of paid killers, like in Libya; or under NATO protection, like in Afghanistan. This is clear invasion of the Country, by foreign Governments, using proxies.

As long as the citizens of Syria are fighting the government of Syria with or without help from other countries it is a civil war. Even Assad calls it such. Both sides are bringing in help from other neighbors, Assad has China, Russia and Iran sending money, weapons and ammunition, is that somehow different than the Rebels?

Your problem is you have a misconception of the war in totality, you do not accept that it is regular Syrians that make up the majority of the Rebels and a very large number of the Rebles are defected SAA which are Syrians. You believe Assad is entitled to get help from other countries but the Rebels are not, correct?

It can be a proxy war or called a proxy civil war because Assads side wants him to win and Rebels side want Rebels to win, however even Assads side wants Assad to stop killing civilians.

The manoeuvres of the West, and Qatar, itself show that they are aware, that there is no civil war in Syria.

In Syria, the West, and Qatar, formed the Government in Turkey, and then rearranged it in Qatar. They are instructing their paid killers in Syria, to fight until they somehow squeeze out legitimate Syrian Government, and position their Government-in-waiting on its place. Sure, the paid killers would than need to be the protectors of that government, like in Libya. But obviously without NATO thoroughly devastating the Country, this Western Regime Change is not working. Therefore NATO is already accumulating their “assets” on Syrian border, in Turkey.
