It would be interesting what China means by "launching a counterstrike " against the Philippines.
The Philippines is a peace-loving nation.
If President of the US, I would order a military action against China if it unwisely provoked the Philippines.
The pinoys love licking their white master's shoes more than they love peace.

The pinoy lapdogs are merely barking out what their masters in Washington tell them.

Sorry mate but that's very far from the truth. The Philippines is a very violent place. There are political killings every election season. It is consistently one of the most dangerous places for reporters. Kidnappings and killings by terrorists and common criminals are common. There is an active rebellion by both communists and muslim groups. All this violence is perpetuated by Filipinos. But the Philippines is not all bad. In parts of Makati, you can actually forget that you are in a very poor and violent third world country for a couple of hours. I recommend having some oysters and San Mig Lights at the Oyster Bar in the company of a few Filipina prostitutes.
Makati is the best place to be in the country according to foreigners.
Seriously, I've been there and in the Visayas and never had any trouble with anyone. I would not hesitate to defend the Philippines .
