Your painting a picture of an embattled progressive movement opposing the Tribal Terrorist who are supported by a redundant Western imperialism.
But in fact it is not, remember the Arab Spring was a genuine outpouring of emotion protesting against demographic and economic circumstances that were endemic to the stage of transformation Society was in.
