No - I wasn't there for his presidency, but that shouldn't matter because we know how little first hand knowledge is worth around here. Dan, none of us were here for A LOT of history or for MOST of history, as of course, you know- and even Granny knows that as well. I wonder how she reconciles her idea that she is an EXPERT on what the bible means when of course, she was not here when it was written. And no, she will not respond to the laws/treaties broken any more than she will respond to admit that she was wrong about what treason is, wrong about the 2000 Supreme Court Justice's political affiliations, wrong about what waterboarding is, etc. Granny has proven her MO which is that if what is told to her- ESPECIALLY FACTUAL and undeniable TRUTH- does not fit in with the NON-truths which she cocoons herself in, she simply ignores and overlooks and pretends that the truth staring her in the face is simply non-existent. I guess the simplest way to say it is that anything that might disrupt the fantasy world she has CHOSEN to live in she deems worthy of simply ignoring in the hopes that the truth will just go away. Kind of like someone who has cancer and is in denial that they have cancer and who tries to fool themselves into thinking that if they DENY the cancer is there, it really is NOT there or else it will just magically disappear.

Well, here we go.....another Democrat, who has denied for more than a year "having sex with that woman" (really just an affair), confesses today that in fact he did. And he did it while his wife was battling incurable cancer.This was the one talking about wanting to be the moral change for the country!!!! Anyone seeing a pattern here? Anyone care to guess what the moral change would have been?

She just posted about a Dem having an affair- I assume she was referring to John Edwards, but of course, the many sexual escapades of the Republicans- men's room sex, sex with children, etc.- not a word from her on any of that. A half truth is no better than a full lie, and all Granny deals in are half truths. I have no patience for it, as dealing in only half truths is sneaky at best, and just totally dishonest and IMMORAL at worst. So she can live in her fantasy world in which she thinks that all is just hunky-dory here in the USA, she can continue to spread her lies and misinformation and by doing so, she will continue to dig the hole she has dug for herself even deeper. My meeting went fine- as I mentioned to the DENIER of truth- aka Granny- I am first VP on our homeowner's Board of Directors, and they asked if I would consider being President come January. I don't think I will- I've been on the board for 7 years now and even as first VP it's A LOT of work but MUCH more work is demanded from the president and I just don't have the time for it. Gotta feed the kitties, then fill the outside bird feeder and change the water in the bird baths, but at least I don't have to water all the plants and flowers today- we had a short but rather heavy thunderstorm a little while ago, and now the sun is out once again. Then I'll relax out back for a while with a cool drink and the book I am currently reading- actually RE-reading- it's a novel by Bernard Malamud- he is the author of the book "The Natural" which was made into a movie with Robert Redford- this book is titled "The Assistant" and is a great read, and it's like reading for the first time since it was quite a few years ago that I first read it. So I'll sip my drink, read my book, enjoy the birdsong and the playful squirrels, listen to the breeze in the trees, and then I'll come back in after a while, make dinner and then check back with ya later! :-)

:-) You know OCB Granny is one of a kind always wanting to argue about something I honestly think we should ignore her ramblings for thats all they are is ramblings. you know the ones that tell's one lie and when they are caught in it they tell even a bigger lie until no one believes them anymore. I honestly believe that we should get keep going with the good work and let her talk an argue with herself.
