Here is an interesting article addressing some of the many scientific absurdities found in the Koran:

http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/denis_...

Like all primitive religions, Islam attempts to defend the indefensible from the light of day.

Unlike most patriarchal hierarchical religions today though, Islam believes in defending their primitive religion with the sword when all else fails. And Islam is not above using weapons of mass destruction to achieve their aims.

Islam needs to be watched very carefully.

Yes, this is quantum entanglement.
<quoted text>
Look up "EPR paradox" and what happened with that. Yes, it violates the theory of relativity, but it doesn't violate quantum mechanics.
<quoted text>
The problem is viewing quantum entanglement in the framework of the theory of relativity. There is no need for the exchange of "light" in quantum entanglement. It is an inherent property of the system.
All scientists ideas become untenable eventually. It is in their nature. Newton was proved wrong by the theory of relativity. Einstein was proved wrong by quantum mechanics. People who claim that the theory of evolution is just a theory are correct. It is a theory. But is is a theory based on knowledge, experience and justifiable evidence. It may be proved wrong but only when someone produces evidence to counter it. Islam is based upon a theory that has no evidence, no projected outcome and no verifiable conclusions. It is childhood fantasy."

The EPR paradox was devised by Einstein among others because he could not accept quantum mechanics. In Einsteins words "God does not play dice with the universe"
Well maybe god does play dce with the universe because quantum mechanics is applied to modern life, computers etc evenn though physicists cannot explain it. As Richard Feynman said "if you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't."
Richard feynman could have been an eastern mystic.

This is incorrect. Newton was not "proven wrong". His theory simply had limitations. Einstein's theory of relativity converges into Newton's theory under certain circumstances.

And the same applies here: Einstein's theory of relativity works well on a large scale, but not so well at a quantum level. Quantum mechanics cannot describe the movement of the planets around the sun (well, perhaps it can, but it's mathematically way too complex). Quantum mechanics cannot explain various aspects of gravity, whereas Einstein's theory of relativity does.

This would be what religions have in common with each other, although they will claim that there *is* a projected outcome...which cannot be verified until it happens.

Actually, the EPR paradox IS a paradox. The error was that quantum entanglement is real and can be verified, whereas Einstein considered it untenable at the time. It should be noted that it took 30-odd years before someone solved the paradox.

That eastern religions contain some element of mysticism is fair enough, but it's different from saying eastern religions contain modern science. It requires the same time of argumentation the muslims have been using to claim their scripture must be "divine", since it contains scientific concepts "discovered only recently".

Maybe if you scumbags had a drink every now and then, you wouldn't be blowing sh*t up every half-hour and killing your own daughters for wearing lipstick.

When was the last time you had your brain examined? I hope you do not carry any assault weapons. You are definitely a threat to the American Muslim citizens living in America.

You are full of neurotic hate against Islam and the Musloims. You are a very sick person.

Children draw conclusions based on previous experience. Small white children often conclude that the dark skinned people are dirty and dangerous. You have been raised probably under a home environment that says all Muslims are ferocious mutt of the mechanic's shops. Your mind speaks itself of the mental shrimpness. You hate me only because I give you a very deserving response, which hurts right in your belly and guts, and then you start moaning on the board. And as long as you can change your negative substance and style, you would continue to suffer like you are doing now.
Tolerance is way of living with our differences. In any civilized society, not necessarily the Western society, we offer each other attention and respect even when we cannot agree.
Remember the hatred of Muslims that is being shown by the militant Hindus is causing tremendous suffering to none others but your ownselves, which you don't even, know. Have you checked your blood pressure lately?

I am certain now that you are a very neurotic hatemonger, and need urgent help.

However, I have seen many enemies of Islam suddenly change amd become Muslim. A few months ago, the Swiss hatemonger who banned the building of Muslims Majids in Switzerland, suddenly embraced Islam.

Please check the following:

Dr. Maurice Bucaille's Book: " The Bible The Qur'an and Science

No matter what, whoever says, the FACT is ISLAM is the fastest growing religion with over 1.5 billion followers worldwide and nothing or nobody can stop this increase.
No disrespect at all to other religions.

There are twice as many Christians in the world as there are filthy, amoral muslims. Islam is not the fastest growing religion in the world. Christianity is. Also, more people become atheist each year than subscribe to bullsh*t religions. The world is awakening to the lies, hatred and ignorance of the demonic screed islam.

I checked, and I had to laugh a lot. Maurice Bucaille was a con man, although it is possible he also fooled himself.

As a scientist, I feel embarrassed that the man ever dares to use the word "science" for his delusions.

Arabesque: An elaborative application of repeating geometric forms often found decorating the walls of mosques.
Minaret: The minaret is a distinctive architectural feature of Islamic architecture, especially mosques, dating back to the early centuries of Islam. Minarets are generally tall spires with onion-shaped crowns, usually either free standing or much taller than any surrounding support structure. The tallest minaret in pre-modern times was the Qutub Minar, which was 72.5 meters (237.9 ft) tall and was built in the 12th century, and it remains the tallest brick and stone minaret in the world

While I do believe Islam is a false religion, it does not change the fact that during the Islamic Golden Age there were many Muslim Arab, Persian, Turkic, and Indian scientists who made signifcant contributions to science (the vast majority were Persian though).

Al Kharazimi, Ibn Sinni, Al Haytham, Al Razi, Ibn Firnas, etc. where all celebrated scientists. Many of their works were foundations of modern sciences like medicine, optics, mathematics, and even evolution if you can believe or not. They were directly read by Enlightenment era thinkers like Copernicus and Darwin, who derived their own discoveries from earlier work.

The thing is however, most of these advancements in science had nothing do to with Islam or religion. While some Muslims claim it was because the Qur'an supposedly encouraged people to seek knowledge about the world, it is not the case. In Shoja-e-din Shafa's book "Rebirth", he argues that the term "Islamic Science" is a misnomer, as most of the scientists had little do with Islam. They were freethinkers, and often secular or irrelgious. Some like Ibn Sina were quite mystical, but their success were still not because of some inherent advantage of being Islamic.

While Muslims did contribute a lot to science, they stopped a long time ago. What happened? People became more religious and started suffocating science and intelligence with backwards superstition and violence just like Chirstianity did. Muslims need their own Renaissance and enlightment so they can get out of the grips of religion just like Europe did.

Who is this Swiss person? I bet if we checked into it, he probably doesn't exist.

Secondly Maurice Baucille really is a con man. He has made millions of dollars selling these books to the Saudi royal family and was even made their royal physician. Tell me, if Baucille really does believe Islam is true and proven by science, why does he continue to refuse to convert?

Thirdly, Islam is not the fastest growing religion in the world. Christianity actually is, both by total increase each year and number of converts. Do some research before posting unverified claims.

Slight correction here: while there indeed is no evidence that Bucaille ever converted to islam (one may even state there is evidence to the contrary), it will be a bit difficult for him to still refuse to convert, considering the fact he's been dead for quite some time already...

Ah my apologies, I don't think I made that clear. It is true that while there is no decisive evidence indicating that Bacaille converted, there are indications he remained Christian till his death in 1998, so yes, he can no longer refuse to convert as he is quite dead.

However he is still a poor excuse for a "scientist", reading this interview of his http://www.islamicbulletin.org/newsletters/is... , where he takes multiple jabs at Evolution and Darwinian theory, and even divulges into heaploads of pseudoscience and frivoulous unproved claims, it is clear that he is still nothing for Muslims to be proud about.

Maurice Bucaille was a inveterate drunkard and opium addict. He receded into a haze of madness and despair decades before his demise. He is remembered as a charlatan and buffoon.
