Has anybody yet considered that a bunch of third-tier, maybe second-tier athletes in the United States, beat the top-tier athletes from England? Makes victory that much more sweet!!!

St. George has been having difficulties in recent years but, let's not forget, they did hold the title once, they invented modern football and they have a proud history behind them. That is not to say that their best days are behind them. Blighty will rise again. Keep in mind that promising American footballers like Clint Dempsey are playing in the Premier League. Europe is where American-and other-footballers go to learn and hone skills.

That is what I keep saying. Who the hell voted for Spain? That is soo ignorant. When was the last time Spain won a world cup? I don't remember at all, if they ever won a World Cup. That's why I go for Brazil, Germany or Italy
