Carlos Tevez is an excellent player and Spurs could use him. However, he does come with emotional baggage and spurs already has to content with a loose cannon in Adebayor. No doubt both playes would want to start or else there could very well be locker room problems, but does both players compliment each other.

Bottom line is FIFA should have probably banned Tevez for his sideline antics against Dortmond in Champions League group play when he refusedto come on as a substitute when City were 2-0 down. City will not go very far in the Champions League, and Tevez has the behavior like a small child in a room full of toys and candy and will throw a temper tantrum if you place him in an environment that could be quite unreceptive towards Tevez if he dolesn't play well in his first two or three games with the Tottenham.

This is a big risk, one that could potentially make or break Redknapp's career lest he's not careful in handling this option. Tevez may take the lifeline and drag Spurs down with him. What spurs really needs is a world-class central defender,a left wing back and a versitile, quick young genter forward. Now in that CF role, Giovanni Dos Santos could still prove to be the man if given a decent opportunity, henceforth, I think redknapp should pass on a Tevez as good as that highly controversial player is.

Somehow, I don't expect Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle to be there in the end, though Chelsea has the best chance of the three.

Go Yids...Champions League 2012!
