If a country that has been called "the most civilized on earth" plans to put this law into effect why can't the rest of the world? Or do they enjoy the idea of posterity laughing at them? Unless they do, that's what will undoubtedly happen.

"I'd rather have a German Division in front of me than a French one behind."
- General George S. Patton Jr

I wouldn't expect the French to put up much of a fight against the pestilence of homosexuality.

Another country moving ahead of the U.S. in individual liberty. Really shows that the U.S. is still deep into religious oppression and the rest of the world is making intelligent decisions to move away from religious oppression.

General Patton was a reckless idiot that's why he was relieved of duty. As for the French their military had been ill prepared as were most European countries including the U.S.. But the French Resistance was a major pain in the back side for Hitler and a great aid to the ally's.

America is not civilized, it's not elegant, and it's not cultured. It is *NOT* a country with class. At all.

There are things I like about America, but I will be (string of expletives) damned if I am going to LIE for my country like that. If America wants class and wants to be considered to have any dignity whatsoever, it needs to:

*LEAD*

period.

It is not *LEADING* in cultural terms. Not by a long shot. It is trailing way behind and looking primitive and laughable.

I still feel that the only hope for the United States as a country is to ditch the southern states, especially the population centre of Tech's Ass, as I like to call it. They will then become a theocracy and the remaining states can progress.

I'm sure that when France fell to the Germans during WW2, no one in the US said "Another country moving ahead of the U.S. in individual liberty."

I keep "ignoring" this solution and almost fear I'LL START TO AGREE WITH IT, LOLOLOL!

The south and the north are so vastly different. The northeast is vastly different again.
