"The Muslim Brotherhood knows it has a long way to go before taking control of Syria. But its power grabs have already played a major role in perpetuating the current crisis, and they bode ill for its role in the new Syria."

'Nuff said.

Exactly! And if they ever got their hands on chemical or biological WMDs, the results would be horrendous.

I think Obama knows that if Assad falls, the Israelis have plans to invade Syria in order to keep these weapons out of terrorist hands.

I think Washington has warned its Gulf state allies that this is the current reality. I think they realize that all parties are in a no win situation by escalating this conflict further.

Look at US media coverage (always a telling sign). The conflict is back page news, smoldering embers and nothing more. Rest assured that the media are more than ready to fan and even feed the flames of conflict when it suits them and the opposite when it does not.

Watch how the US media are slowly backing away from their earlier beating of the war drums by strategically reporting more and more on atrocities committed by the rebels, always with a short PC disclaimer 'Assad's forces brutal but blame on both sides' buried in the text.

Ask yourselves why this paradigm shift in the media.

Because this insurgency has become more and more filled with AlQaeda terrorists.

The brotherhood and all their Jihady friends and supporters are equal and as bad as Assad and his allies. By conituned attempt to control the Syrian revolution, they have proved that they do not care about the Syrian people and their fight to be liberated from Assad and his gang. Their repeated actions for more than two years has proven that they are far from tolerant, that they are very radical, conservatives, very narrow sighted and unable to understand others than themselves, that that the world and Syria are not the same as they were for 1,500 years ago and that they the brotherhood are certainly not as fair and just as the people that rulled the moslem world at that time. Through more than two years of continued attempt to steal the Syrian revolution from those who daily pay the highest price through suffering and being killed by the Assad army, the brotherhood have given the evidence that they are not interested in removing Assad and his killer army but in obtaining control and power to rul Syria and its brave people. The brotherhood with their cold tactical maneuvres are using the boold of the innocent Syrian people to clime to power which is their sole objective and hidden agenda - God help Syria, its people and the entire region if they one day comes to power in Syria.

You're not funny, little b*itch.

I'm tired of our people blaming OUR governments for everything and trying to pretend that whatever Russia and Assad support is the right thing.

Whatever the reason, Assad HAS killed more people than the opposition. Any ruler that has murdered so many of his people, even extremists, should no longer have the right to retain his power or title.
