Mayor Hsie Tian Tsai is not your typical DPP politician.

He is not a 'fist of fury' advocate and instead speaks in a calm and even-toned voice.

The Tainan mayor is also not adept at making so-called media-hugging ' grand standing shows' and often takes a low profile.

Mayor Hsieh even doesn't engage in shouting matches and last but not the least don't have that 'Holier-than-Thou' attitude which often is the 'trade mark' of most DPP officials.

So you can safely voice a different opinion and still relax cause you are confident that you don't get punched!

That's a first-hand guarantee!

The island's economy is shrinking at a rate of 10% year on year. Wonder why all these DPP jokers are heading to China.

Beijing is completely wrong on their Taiwan policy. By helping the island back onto its feet, there will be no appreciation and gratitude from the DPP, they will just go back to their old trick. With the US market collapsed, China is the island's only remaining market. With a sanction and embargo at this stage, the island truly would know what it is like to be independent.

The DPP and KMT does not represent the Naruwan Republic.

Nor does the Naruwan Republic need any cents from the PRC.

Naruwan Republic? What is that? Something along the line of the Banana Republic?

One typical sympton of being a banana republic is not being able to recognize its own self, while thinking everyone is like them. Part of the islander psychic.

Taiwan, finally, is on the path of becoming like Hong Kong. One Country, Two System. Taiwan has nothing to lose but to gain a future for her younger generation.

Yes, I completely agree 100% with you.

I bet many here have also noted your signs and symptoms of being abused in your early teens.

Banana as the 'tool' used could explain your preoccupation with it.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
