Interesting, Chinese say:

economic development # 1,
moral development # 2?

Without basic amenities can you have morals? People lie and cheat when they cannot feed their families. Buddhism also states economic development is also an aspect of morality.

Yes the communists are playing with fire. However, Buddhists have to strengthen themselves from incorrect representations. The people on the side of lies and misrepresentation are increasing. It is a danger to all humanity.

Evangelical Christianity is pretty intolerant, one only look at Korea.

The patience of Korean Buddhists has caused a resurgence in appreciation of Buddhism. I hold Korean Buddhists as the ideal example. As Buddhists our focus should be on consolidating all traditions and ensuring practice is based on moral and ethical mind training, with an emphasis on loving kindness and compassion meditation.

We must provide a resurgence in basic Buddhism.

Many Korean Buddhist temples got burned down, Buddha statue got destroyed by these crazy Korean Christians.
There's even on You Tube where one Korean Christian praying to God for the destruction of Buddhist temples.( I guess God is not on their side since Buddhist temples still standing all over)
Avici hell is their destination.

Yes it's unfortunate that there is so much intolerance. God is certainly not on their side as long as Buddhists follow their precepts and take refuge in Buddha with a loving heart towards all beings.
