The Venezuelan people have endorsed Chavez to stay in power almost forever because Venezuela like any other Latin country needs some sort of a totalitarian rule.

Countries like Mexico and Columbia who are supposed to have democratic rule are losing the drug war to the drug lords. Latin American countries will all have to learn from Cuba, Indonesia and China in order to win their wars against their drug cartels.

Across the river from here, the police chief had to resign following the drug lords' demand or they will kill one policeman every 24 hours. Further south, half an hour drive from here, in the little town of Villa Ahumada, there are no policemen because either they have been killed by the drug lords or they have abandoned their post and threw their uniform away.

Venezuelan know that if they have no Hugo Chavez their country could turn to chaos like in Mexico and in Columbia.

A country fully able to supply food and agri-products outside the boarders, but unable to supply it's own people. The world will watch as this petro-rich nation sinks to NEW low levels because the leadership is under-educated... no other reason... nothing at all to do with low oil prices... just simple poor management (or white-collar theft)!

China economy has grown at a 10 per cent rate annualy during last 20 years, according to experts in 10 more years will be first economic power in the world. Chinese tecnology is excellent, now it is the third country to place men in space with its own means, so don't underestimate chinese capacity and ingenuity.
