This was one of President Obama's most genuinely warm and congenial FDR moments.

Fireside chat. What is with you people? Always remembering those human moments, those moments of humanness. Why can't you remember people for their greatness? Is digging up dirt on people an American trait or what?

The problem here is that trying to remember someone for their greatness demands that they first be capable of greatness and, in fact, do something great. That's how definitions work, dood.

Who has seen any greatness in the past 3 1/2 years of bumbling, cuteness and singing little ditties on David Letterman?

Maybe he can tap dance?

Let's wait and see.

He does a great song and dance routine when lying to get elected.

While running in 2008 he declared, "Let me be clear. Israel's security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable." Then, after he was elected, he said Israel must return to where it's borders were prior to 1967.

Talk is cheap and King Obama is definitely cheap that way. Watch what he does not what he says.

His talk got him elected and it got him a Nobel Peace Prize. If he had actually offered something of substance, he would have gotten neither.

www.nytimes.com/2011/05/20/world/middleeast/2... "At one level, by putting the United States on record as supporting the 1967 borders as the starting point for negotiations over a Palestinian state, Mr. Obama was simply endorsing reality: Middle East analysts say a new state would inevitably be drawn on the basis of Israelís boundaries before the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, which created the contours of todayís Middle East.

Israelís victory over Egypt and other Arab neighbors in that war expanded its control over territory in the West Bank and Gaza inhabited by millions of Palestinians, creating a greater Israel ó including all of the capital, Jerusalem ó but one that oversees a resentful occupied population.

Mr. Obama also noted that Israel and the Palestinians would have to swap territory on either side of that border to account for large Jewish settlements that have taken root in the West Bank since 1967. " It was a significant step closer to the Peace Now Movement within Israel and the Palestinians that recognizes also that land swaps must be negotiated , Israel must reverse its settlement expansion policy into captured Palestinian territory )

You don't seriously believe that the Palestinians will be satisfied with that concession, do you? They won't be happy until there no longer is an Israel.
