Medewiwin Monsokan was in Grand Portage USA yesterday. I went to see if I could see the mirage my brothers and sister of the Ojibwa Nation have witnessed for centuries. I couldn't believe it but I saw Manitou Island with my owe eyes rise from the waters and not only was I alone but others waited for the mirage also and then the fog hid our Manitou Island. I will always remember the vision I had at Grand Portage, Minnesota. I saw Manitou Island. I am a true Ojibwa Medewiwin.

I saw something else at Grand Portage Border Station, an Native lady had immigrated and she was admitted into the US. Shawn Atleo knows the Canadian Government is kicking Aboriginal people out. We must do something. We need to open the Canada and US governments to understand that we, Anishnawbec are a third order of government and must not ask us for finger prints, green cards. We must live and work there without 'Waasheegan' paper work. We need to do that, we need to tell the Waasheegan Governmments that its our country and we can work and live there without Waasheegan papers (green cards). Okay!
