Letter From Prominent Americans Urges Ecuador to Accept Assange Asylum Request
A group of prominent Americans have signed a letter urging Ecuador to accept an asylum request from Julian Assange, who faces extradition to Sweden on allegations of sexual assault charges, saying that his case represents an "attack on press freedom" and that his health and well-being are at serious risk.

These Americans are doing more than the Australian government for one of their own citizens it takes you back to the Howard government apathy to go up against America to save one of thier own...These Australian governments are traitors to free speach and they are conspiring with the American government to get Assange extradited to their country...why else are they dragging their feet less they are following the process by which the Howard government was condemmed for in the Hicks saga...They are doing the bidding of their masters...good Labor dogs...
