Julian could always apply for asylum in his birth country of Australia seeing it has to abide by it's UN. charter of protection for the oppressed as we have seen by the number of people who have arrived in boats as refugees

Here is a thought:

Britain protected General Augustice Pinochet from prosecution by allowing him refuge within Britain whilst he was wanted in connection with the disappearance and deaths of his own countrymen and women whilst head of his government so why is Julian Assange not afforded the same hospitality doubly for the fact that he did not kill anyone ?

Because Pinochet was a Fascist supported by the West,Julian is a pain in their arse and they don't like it,these people think they are above the Law,if he was back in Australia they wouldn't give a rats backside about his rights,they would turn him over to the Reich.
