Mrs. Bouchouang is running for mayor just like any other individual belonging to a political party with representation at the national assembly. It is not because she is President Paul Biya’s in-law that her least movement should be scrutinized. In politics we deal with individuals capable of changing the course of events and their environment and not names. She is simply interested in serving her community and nothing else.

The Lady seeking another term as mayor has proven what she is capable of doing for her community during her previous term. It is because of her concern for her community that she worked for their development and not because she has any links with the presidential couple.

Such a title will certainly be attractive but is not necessary because it is of no help. No one is interested in knowing that President Paul Biya has an in-law running for mayor. What matters is her contribution in the development of her constituency.

This Lady is a hard working woman and it is clear that her daughter got that hardworking spirit from her. She has also undertaken several humanitarian actions in and out of her constituency since she became mayor and these will certainly contribute in her reelection.

Mrs. Bouchouang has served her community as mayor for a while now and has greatly contributed in the improvement of their living conditions.
In the view of her achievements, her community is ready to reelect her for another term as mayor. We look at this woman and judge her from her actions and we do not base our judgment on her links with the Presidential couple.
