The Toulouse Massacre: More Jihad Denial

There are 124 comments on the www.americanthinker.com story from Mar 26, 2012, titled The Toulouse Massacre: More Jihad Denial. In it, www.americanthinker.com reports that:

Every time a Muslim commits murder in the name of Islam, the denial begins again: Western leaders and the mainstream media tie themselves into knots trying to explain what happened without making any reference to its guiding motivation.

Last week was no different: Muhammad Merah was a self-styled "Islamic warrior" who killed a rabbi and several children at a Jewish day school in Toulouse, France, in an attack that the international media widely reported initially as having been perpetrated by a neo-Nazi. When it became clear that Merah was actually a jihadist, the predictable denial began: French President Nicolas Sarkozy said that the attack had nothing to do with Islam, and the call echoed worldwide not to allow the murders to harm French "pluralism" ...

Start listing the Christian leaders who advocate violence, rape and incest since you claim the Christian Holy Book tells them to do so.
If you're not going to list all those leaders who do so, then maybe you should research how the OT and NT applies to Christianity theologically and the significances and differences of the OT-NT.
Army of God, Chistian Identity and their likes, Ku Klux klan, Lord'd resistance army ... To name a few contemporary irganisations. If you accept lone loonies, Andreas Breivik coul be part of the lot.

If you go further back in time, you will get pogroms, slavery and mass killings.

Every time proponents of a religion let themselves to be tempted with supremacism, crime was the natural result, regardless of the religion involved.

Islam causes the most problems because it is the youngest of the 3 Abrahamic religions. Islam is (2012 - 632 )= 1380 years old (approx.) whereas Christianity is 2012 years old. The Christians had their own share of the killing of innocent people in the past too when it was around the same age as Islam is now. As we get older we tend to be wiser and gentler.
agree except that in Islam self reflection and criticism result in death, there is no room for change. And in all religions the source documents contain enough garbage to reignite "fundamentalist" movements.

Not now, but they certainly did during the Middle Age, during the Crusades, the Religion Wars, etc... up to 400 years ago.
Colonialism took its justification fod mass killings and genocides in the christian religions. The Popes blessed the armies sent to conquer other continents, etc...
you are correct and there is always the potential for any belief to foment violence. At present around the world the beliefs of many muslims, not all but many result in conflict and violence. I for one would love to see all religion put aside; it is a lense that distorts reality and allows people to justify otherwise unjustifiable actions. It is time for man to outgrow the ghost stories of the past and take responsibility for our world here and now.

French government and medias anesthetize the population. They lie so much to us.
The population seems to accept being fooled.
The government think the population is made of idiots that must stay calm.
