"EVA JOLY
her first campaign pledge: to scrap France's traditional Bastille Day military parade."

Parades need to abolish!

Fascism finished!

We live at 21 century, not before the WWII!

Nationalism and militarism = Poverty and tragedy.

I can't see France abandoning its military parade on national day when other countries keep theirs.

Another job for the EU dictators: ban military parades.

Good luck!

"when other countries keep theirs"

Who "other"?

Britain, USA among others!

The 14th July military parade in France has nothing fascist. It marks the anniversary of the begining of the revolution in 1789 that overthrew the monarchy and gave France its republic.

1.If UK have militarism will loose all colonies. Also and USA if have militarism, will loose the leadership.

2.Why need celebrate the comming of republic with militarism-nationalism-fascism ?

Parades are good for nazist-soviet-fascist countries.

.
France celebrates Bastill Day with a military parade because it's armed insurection that started the French Revolution on 14th July 1789.

There is nothing fascist about it.

Eva Joly recently fell of the stairs and went to the hospital for a few days. YOu cannot imagine how much I rejoiced at the news!!

God works in mysterious ways sometimes.

Bastille day is a good national day because it's about the revolution of the French people against the king. They should keep it.
Military parade is also something to keep. If you have something good to show then you should show it. If a girl has something to show then she should show it too. Just don't cover yourself from head to toe unless you have two noses 3 eyes.
