Of all the countries, France is probably the most familiar with Syria because at one time Syria was a French colony. If someone can stop Assad from bombing his own citizens then maybe controls can happen.
Now China was caught with shipping missiles to Syria so their hands are not clean either.
Shipping missiles? Any proof please? What was published were graphite cylinders what "could" be used as parts of the missiles (probably ballistic missiles). Are you suggesting Syrian government intends to fight the terrorists with balistic missiles? Obviously a dual purpose cargo like plenty of others. "The graphite cylinders found aboard the cargo ship Xin Yan Tai in South Korea's Busan port could be used for rocket nozzles and re-entry vehicle nose tips, Kyodo said." That particular cargo came from North Korea and the Chinese ship crew apparently did not know anything about their load.

Jim Muir for better or for worse has concocted a new strategic existence in the new middle east. To keep France and Britain in the box seat to economically exploit the region, not to mention Africa .
Jim has opened the US coffers to the brotherhood. In the future the introverted focus of what some describe as Islam will get almost as much as Israel every year.
Jim tells us that is a good thing because George believes a brand of liberalism that provides no material benefits has arrived for Egyptians to be proud of. hehehehehe.

Jim Muir is a lying reptilian journalist working for the BBC and George is the reincarnation of, nobody knows what.

What you are talking about reflects the imagination of a sick person, but has nothing to do with the president Assad, who provided stability and independence to Syria for many years. Syria was based on religious and ethnic tolllerance, and criminals who try to take that away, will plainly be crushed by loyal Syrian citizens, who do not want to go back to living style of middle Ages.

France got emboldened. During the time of Libyan conflict, France succeeded, with the help of UN forces, to install puppet government in Ivory Coast. It is interesting how colonizers refuse to accept their own borders.
