A few White dudes and I took a South Vietnamese students in college to a shooting range. We told the Vietnamese dude, there are two simple rules:

1. Always points the gun up to the air or ground.
2 . Never point the gun to any body.

Within 10 minutes the pathetic dude was wavering the gun at us. We were so upset and took away his rental gun. We kicked him out of the shooting range.

He complained, "But my finger was not on the trigger."

----------
South Vietnamese troops in Cambodia were the worst kind, totally undisciplined, caused so many troubles for the North Vietnamese commanders and of course, the Cambodia civilians.
