Didn't the Libyans have it in them to ignore protests just as the British have to when muslims protested in London, threatening violence and the imposition of sharia law on the UK.

After all muslims tell us time and time again that islam is the religion of peace!

Looks like the Home Office was guilty to let the demonstration go ahead, in spite of the warning they receive and the intelligence they had.

We've only got your word on that.
Just imagine the cries of Islamophobia if the government hadn't let the islamists use British democracy to allow their demonstrations against the Kuffar take place!!

Did you take part in the protest yourself?

so we can't even hold protest in our own country in case we upset some crazies who should really have all been sent home earlier? Its always the "others" who are right with you, isn't it?
It wasn't even British people, but opponents using our country and the umbrella of the British police to demonstrate against Gaddafi.

Britain lends support to refugees of countries it doesn't approve of it seems,("freedom of speech", of course), regardless if that creates diplomatic complications ofr ends up in tragic incidents such as these.

Do you think Gaddafi's opponenst were ever thankful to Britain?

Have you gone mad, or something?

The Police Commissioner has the last word about authorising demonstartions in London.
He makes a rish assessment depending on the risks of trouble, the manpower required, etc...

It looks like in this case, the Home Office deliberately allowed the demo to go ahead.
Many years later, we find the truth...

Dud Fivers has a point, we are allowed to protest in our own Country. Shouldn't be held to ransom by threats, ever.
The bad thing, I thought, was Thatcher letting a known guilty one go afterwards to avoid repercussions. Thought she was supposed to be the Iron lady

What about those other Thatcher lies that came out now.
The closing of the mines. Making the Unions look like liers.

Government of this century are wanting to do the same thing with the railways. What was that, a 25% cut in investment. Bet the roads don't get that. All taking backhanders and have too much vested interest in the road transport system.
