The article says the CIA is short handed as the practice of hiring experienced contract CIA employees for 3-6-12 month contracts has been cut way back.

Plus if you base drones in Libya who do you trust to protect the ground support teams for the drones ?

Libya=Arab Spring=country weakened=allows extremists to gain power.

An UNstable country is a viable host for radicals to inervene.

Obama=failed foreign policy

There are too many UNstable countries which now allow for radicals to come to power.

Arab Spring=more soldiers IN the Middle East to hold up weak UNstable governments!

More involvement in the Middle East
More American taxpayer money goint to these countries.

AMerican citizens are paying the salary of Egyptian soldiers!

While OUR soldiers do without!

The restriction Obama placed on soldiers in Afghanistan led to too many soldiers' death.

Under the current rules of engagement, the U.S. military cannot shoot at or drop bombs on anyone not clearly identified as an enemy combatant

WH advisor and Obama friend, Valerie Jarrett, has a full contingent of Secret Service protection here in the USA while she is on vacation in MA
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/...

Meanwhile, in the Middle East no additional protection was given for the 9/11 anniversary in the UNstable countries.

NOTHING was BEEFED UP in these UNstable Arab countries.

Wouldn't you, as a rational person, think to BEEF UP security at embassies and for America personnel during the 9/11 anniversary??!!

It's just common sense.

FAILED FOREIGN POLICY=OBAMA

How would you have suggested that anyone stop the Arab Spring movement?

Actually, if you remember correctly, at least i do, that it was Bush that said bringing democracy to Iraq would sparka wave of deomocratization to the middle east, so isn't htis HIS failed foreign policy?

facts are fun!

isn't it easier and cheaper to just find another two-bit video on youtube to blame the next "unanticipated" event in the middle east on?

no muss, no fuss, and best of all...someone ELSE to blame!

and inspire the rest of the middle east to follow.
and, then, oddly enough...didn't say a word when the egyptian muslims began slaughtering the coptic christians.

The Muslim Brotherhood is not a democracy, it is Sharia Law. Sharia Law is not a democracy. How many different ways to explain a simple fact to you? Oh right, make believe logic is fun! Fiction is a good read too. Free koolade for the dumbest shill!

Obama did not cause the Arab Spring. LOL. DUH. Barack did finance the Muslim B with $3Billion when the US diplomats had APPARENTLY NO MONEY TO FINANCE PROTECTION FOR THEMSELVES. Barack sent drones into Libya WITHOUT congressional approval and WITHOUT KNOWING WHO THE REBELS WERE. Barack sanctioned violence by Islamic forces against Black Libyans massacreing at will. You don't give a sh!t about blacks truthfully. Anyone who votes for Barack, white or black, doesn't give a whit about blacks. Why would the rest of us believe Barack cares about Americans then? He's the worst hoax on America in history. Tell yourself some more lies to sleep at night. You and his followers are psychosociopathic creeps.

And so quietly, almost off-handedly, the Rubicon has been crossed. The United States of America, whose blood and treasure have been spilled fighting terrorism, is jumping into bed with radical Islamists. By approving a role for the Muslim Brotherhood in a new Egyptian government, the White House is taking its engagement policy to a dangerous level. American taxpayer dollars will now help sustain the oldest Islamist group, one that helped launch Osama bin Laden on his murderous quest.

Perhaps this day was inevitable for an administration that refuses to say “Islamic terrorists,” and claims “jihad” can be a good thing and Hezbollah has “moderate” elements. But it is hardly inevitable that the Kumbaya approach will bring peace to the Middle East. More likely, it will be seen as Western weakness and beget even more violence against America and our allies. The decision applies to Egypt, but it won’t stay in Egypt. Nearly every Arab government is fighting radical groups that aim to eliminate our presence, Israel and Western-friendly leaders. Imagine what those leaders think about our willingness to endorse the Muslim Brotherhood, which helped spawn Hamas and similar groups.

We have pulled the rug out from under our allies.

Barack practices what is called Dimmitude, where the terrorized are to adopt a lowly subordinate social ranking and apologetic stance in order to "avoid" penalty by Islam. The US embassy practiced Dhimmitude and look where it got them. You cannot rationalize with terrorists.

Isn't it also interesting that ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States. Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured.

Dhimmitude defined

"7th century - Islam was spread by means of its practitioners' violent conquest of non-Muslim (infidels) lands. 8th century, formal set of rules was created to govern the relationships between the Muslims and the defeated infidels. This framework is known as "dhimmitude," a term connoting the lowly legal and social status of Jews and Christians who are subjected to Islamic rule. Dhimmi was the name applied by the Arab-Muslim conquerors to the indigenous non-Muslim populations that surrendered by a treaty (dhimma) to Muslim domination. Muslims consider themselves to be in a perpetual state of war with the non-Muslim." V. Sharpe

Al-Akhbar:

Yet again, Western governments and media are shocked. A group of fanatic Salafi and Ikhwan types attacked the US embassy in Cairo and the US consulate in Benghazi, and the US ambassador was killed. The US through Hillary Clinton spoke on behalf of the Libyan people – no less – and decided that those deeds are unrepresentative of the Libyan people. Her statement, however, did not inform the American public that the killers were probably fighting alongside NATO only a few months ago.

This is a film that we had seen before. The US is only starting to reap the “benefits” of its own policies and actions in Libya, and beyond. The picture is clear in the region: the US is now fighting a regional war on the side of the very forces that produced Bin Laden and the Taliban.

For all intents and purposes, the US is now in the sectarian camp headed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which also includes a variety of Islamist fanatics, from al-Qaeda and its many copycats to the Muslim Brotherhood. The US under Obama has thrown its lot in that camp. It wants to defeat the Iranian-Syrian-Hezbollah axis (on behalf of Israel) by all means necessary.

This was the same logic that the US used against the communist bloc. The US then aligned itself with the most reactionary forces in the East and West in the name of “freedom”.

Today, the US is fighting in order to achieve an illusory victory. The US yet again assumes that a defeat of an enemy translates into a victory for the US. The US – from its own perspective – may replace a monster with another.

In the war between secularists and fanatics, the US is squarely on the side of the reactionaries and fanatics: from Saudi Arabia to Libya. And when former allies of the US turn against it, as did some of the fanatics of the mujahideen in Afghanistan; the US is shocked and confused.

The new Libyan regime expressed outrage and feigned sympathy and said all the right words. What was missing though is the acknowledgement that the culprits in the attack on the US diplomats are part of the fanatic militias that the US armed and supported in the NATO attack on Libya.

The US will face a similar and more ominous fate in Syria, where the war will only grow and will only extend to more countries over time. For the short-sighted US policy makers, the victory is near and will be within reach only with more weapons and more support for the glorious rebels.

Did NATO not know who they were supporting or arming in Libya? Or did they rely on the same CIA men, who are now at the border between Syria and Turkey, to screen good guys from bad guys before they dump the millions in cash and in equipment? Did NATO think that the fanatic militant religious extremists who received US support in the war on Libya will repent and change course once the Gaddafi regime was overthrown? Did they assume that the fanatic groups would abandon their ideology in gratitude for NATO’s help?

The Libyan government conveniently blamed al-Qaeda “or” the followers of Gaddafi. These followers of Gaddafi will be blamed for a variety of misdeeds for years to come. Hillary Clinton was more impudent: she actually dared to accuse Libyans of ingratitude. She reminded them that the US helped in the “liberation” of Libya.

Liberation? Don’t Libyans know that the US enjoyed close relations with the Gaddafi regime from 2002 until the Libyan uprising? Did Hillary think that Libyans forgot that she herself received Mutassim Gaddafi (the head of the secret police, or one of the branches of the secret police) and discussed matters of common interest?

Americans are reacting to events with the same fake innocence that characterize American reactions to acts of hostility against the US worldwide. Americans don’t know that the attackers on the US consulate in Benghazi probably received US cash and weapons. Americans don’t even know that prior to the “liberation” of Libya, the US enjoyed close relations with the dictatorship of Gaddafi. AT.

We obviously don't need Al-Qaeda to destroy ourselves because we are doing a good job with our partisan Bullsh*t. The GOP from the very beginning has done nothing but attack Obama. They have done everything in their power to makes sure Obama is not relected and they have dragged us down with him too. The other day in the news it was said that this was the new "do nothing Congress" since the great depression. Is their hatred of Obama so great that they have to ruin own country. Why do they hate him so much? Because he's Black. What the hell will happen if we ever get a Hispanic president. OMG!!! Call the Migra!!!

Our country is a giant "melting pot" and is the Greatest Country in the World and we must work together to keep it that way and forget about all this petty BS. Obama is our Commander in Chief so suck it up and drive on!!!

I am a Texan, a conservative, a Republican, and I don't like Obama, or the Democrat Party that was taken over by liberals and socialists back during the George McGovern debacle-I was a conservative to moderate Democrat back in those days, but was told I no longer had a place in the new Democrat Party movement.

And as for a Hispanic becoming president-got no problem there as long as he, or she, isn't a Yellow Dog, liberal, Cuban style socialist, and is from Texas.

So see, it's not hate as much as it's the same old lying bs from Democrats regardless of their ethnic background, that still doesn't want in their party. And for good reason.

And I was a Republican and was on the verge of voting for McCain and then he and Palin started talking and "you betcha," I got totally turned off. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse...here comes the Tea Party!!! OMG!!! So actually Obama looks like the conservative and Romney and the GOP look like the liberals. At least Obama is cautious and thinks before he speaks. On the other hand it seems Romney just speaks to hear his voice. Obama is not all talk and no action--he delivers. How many terrorists have been killed during his presidency compared to Bush's? We already have a war in Afghanistan and Iraq (and although officially it's over, unofficially it's still going on) and Romney is talking about taking on Iran to support Israel and also wants to pick sh*t with China as if our troops were already rested to take on some more.
